I would have said Melissa Lauren but she hardly works anymore now. Same for Venus who is still one of my all time favorite because she's beyond beautiful. I would have to go with Flower Tucci because you can never go wrong with such an awesome butt!

Unforgivable injustice that Katja wasn't nominated. I'm supremely disappointed in that snub. Yet somehow (and to take nothing away from her but COME ON) Brittney Skye gets nominated?

Seeing Flower's name on this list was a forgone conclusion to me many months ago. I had no doubt this was her year and she'll likely take home the trophy if my other pick Sandra Romain doesn't. I'm really happy to see Jada Fire included here, too. Long time coming but I'm sure worth the wait.

Hard to choose from all the girls who have had such a strong year. Jada Fire has really blown me away in every performance of hers I've seen but then again so have so many of the other nominated girls.

I'd never be able to make a solid decision between all these talented performers.

I'm bummed about Katja Kassin not being nominated. All the girls that are listed are great performers, but Katja being left out is mind boggling to me.

I don't know her personally like some of you here, but I do know she's easily one of the best perfomers in the business. I just wish AVN would have remembered that when making those nominations...

Where is all this blood in my mouth coming from!? I must have bit my tongue pretty hard.
AVN took a lot of heat for giving the award to a girl in the industry almost 2 years last year. I don't think this year they wanted the same backlash with nominating a girl in the industry over 2 years.
It feels strange to be with the masses about the Katja snub. Marie and everybody else. I know I'm not everybody's favorite person, but who is up for an email campaign to get Katja nominated?

I'd say even odds Audrey or Melissa to win. The only question is if the AVN would go for a foreign-speaking performer. (Manuel won, but for performer or euro performer?)

I do think a few of the candidates have been around the block one time too many or else present an image of being a tad drug-addicted, which I'm assuming is a bad thing for prize potential.

I would say Venus on merit, but I can't imagine anyone over the age of 22 is gonna qualify. Sadly.

Unlike the starlet list, this one leaves a lot to be desired. Some of those names should be for long and meritorious service, not for what they did in the last year. Marie Luv being left off the list is as criminal as Katja's snub. I can't even guess which way the voting will go on this but my dark horse is Audrey Hollander. They get to keep the award in the country and pick someone as extreme as Sandra Romain.

That's what I'm saying. I too was expecting Katja and Tiana on the Female Performer list. Juli Ashton not in the Hall of Fame yet? That's something.

As for the chosen ones, I'm rootin' for Ariana, Flower, Jada, Melissa, Missy, Roxy, and Sandra, though I think Audrey, Flower, or Melissa may have the best shot of winning the title.

very strange choice of best performers, new starlets etc. and also the best european actor.. that should be best european actor to work in the US.. Because europe has some really good actors that just dont work in the US because they are to busy out here.

For best actress i was sure katja already had to prepare her speech, the other actresses are good, roxy, mellissa and sandra are great, lauren was best actress last year, but katja was defenitely better this year. Pretty sure the winner will be Brittney though..

From the list I'd take Missy but that's just me. What I'm really surprised at is who isn't there. Tiana is the big snub. Also, no Julie Night? Finally, the lack of big company contract girls. Last year had at least Savanna Samson but surprised no one from the feature companies is really there.

Yes, a very curious list of nominees - makes you wonder what dvds the nominations panel watched this year.

Dillan Lauren is rather unheralded (ie, with relatively few boxcovers), but has been popping up in a lot of very good stuff recently (almost as prolific as Lauren Phoenix last year), which leads me to pick her as an outside chance. Nevertheless, I think one of the more extreme proven performers like Melissa Lauren or Ariana Jollee will probably win it.
