I know that porn is on a downward trend of becoming more politically-correct than it has ever been before, except where IR is concerned. But this just takes the cake. I saw the craziest thing in a BangBros scenes that I have never, ever seen in any porn scene ever before. They actually bleeped out the word "bitch" from one of their scenes. I would never have believed it if I hadn't seen it. It happened not once, but twice, during the same scene.
Since when does porn censor words? Why would they even do something like that? Are they running a porn site, or making Disney movies? That had to be the stupidest thing I had ever seen. "Bitch" is allowed to be said on daytime and primetime network TV, but not in porn? What the hell is happening to porn!?
BangBros has to be the first ever porn company in history to find the word "bitch" so offensive that they had to bleep it out of a scene. I just can't believe it. What is the world coming to when porn is bleeping out words? I know BangBros is vanilla. But this is just completely beyond ridiculous. What's next? Bleeping out words like "dick" and "pussy?" I'm just in awe at this.

Girl was called a bitch. Normal context. At first, I thought the bleep was a joke. But then, when they did it the second time, I knew they were seriously censoring the word, which is when I knew that whoever is making these decisions at BangBros has to be a major idiot.

That the girl was called a bitch doesn't reveal much about the context though. I've seen plenty of scenes where the female talent's being openly insulted and disrespected and if it's not appropriate to the tone of the scene it can ruin it. But of course just bleeping out the word "bitch" doesn't help at all in a situation like that. I think I'd have to see the scene myself to form an opinion about it. Bleeping it out just because it's a naughty word doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I can see why you guys find it laughable. If they don't want the word "bitch" in their vids, they should instruct their talent not to use it as opposed to bleeping. The whole idea of banning words from porn is just utterly ridiculous. The possibility that they were just trying to be funny did occur to me. Initially, there was no way I thought they could seriously using bleeps in porn. But again, it happened twice. Once to be funny, I can see. But twice, then it's usually not a joke. Plus, BangBros is really vanilla. It's rare that they ever have a scene in which the female talent is referred to as "bitch." So the fact that it was bleeped out everytime it was said in this one scene seems to decrease the likelihood that it was done just for laughs. It's still laughable, but for the wrong reasons. It's not laughable because it's funny. It's laughable because it's idiotic.
I've been watching porn since the '70s and never have I heard a woman call a man a bastard or son of a bitch. However, women are often called sluts, whores, bitches, etc. Unless you and the woman you are banging are into lewd talk and rough sex, I don't think many women like being called a bitch, etc. To me it is sort of demeaning. But, porn producers know that many men want bitches, whores and sluts. That's why the words are put in the script. Many men really get off (or shall I say, can't get off) unless they call women nasty names. Like my brother used to say "All women are whores because you always have to pay for their company."
@realtip - Some think banning slapping, choking or spanking that causes redness is utterly ridiculous too, but it's not done for those people but for others who will enjoy their vanilla porn without feeling violated. Not every porn fan thinks like you nor are they at the same level of tolerance. And bleeps are used for humor all the time.
Well, I don't walk around calling women bitches and probably wouldn't use the word in a sexual setting even if I knew the woman was cool with it. However, you know something fucked up is going on when porn is being censored for coarse language. I hate to say it again but only in America. If this is the case, then the people who make porn need to become more familiar with the demographics of the major customer base for porn. It is safe to say that of the people who watch hardcore porn, only a miniscule percentage are hypersensitive to the point where they would find these things "offensive." To these people, I would also suggest that they avoid network TV shows because they will likely hear much worse things said on those shows. One reason that porn sucks so much now, more than it used to, is because porn is trying so hard to be mainstream that it's trying to appease the wrong people, and making itself look foolish in the process. Porn is the one genre of entertainment which doesn't have to appeal to delicate social sensibilities due to the taboo nature of the genre itself. Yet, porn is increasingly becoming so antiseptic that soon it won't even be porn anymore. The sadder thing is that, as you said, this is done to appease a certain complaining segment of people, but a very small segment nonetheless. I seriously doubt that BangBros received hordes of complaints from its customers saying, "Hey, we're really offended by the word 'bitch.' Stop using that word at once." Actually, I doubt if BangBros ever received even one complaint to that effect. At first I thought maybe it was for the cable version, but then I realized how stupid that would be, and this tape wasn't the cable version anyway. Was the copy of the video you were watching legit, or did you get it through 'other channels'? If the latter then it is possible someone took it upon themselves to bleep the video. I don't particularly care for the women in a scene being called a bitch or whore unless the vibe of the scene is rough, when it's thrown into a standard sex scene it does pull me out of the scene a bit. It's all about context. As RP says, I don't call women that in the bedroom in real life either. Different people come to porn sex scenes looking for different things, some want it 'dirty and nasty,' some want it to be more relaxed and naturalistic, I don't mind a mixture of both myself. Exactly. Not liking to hear a particular word does not mean you're contradicting your interest in porn. Porn is diverse. The idea that acceptance of one particular word/act/style or anything else is required in order to be a card-carrying porn fan is ridiculous (and yes, just a tad depressing).

I contacted BangBros directly about it. According to their response, it was not a joke. They did not say whether or not censoring words will be a continued practice, which I hope it isn't. I've watched the latest episode of BangBus, in which the words "ho," "slut," and "whore" were all used to refer to the girl in the scene. None of those words were censored, which I guess is a good sign. But the word "bitch" wasn't used. So I don't know if it's just that one word that they have an issue with, or what.It's one thing for people to dislike hearing certain language in porn. If I never have to hear the words, "Your cock is so big," or "Fuck me/my ass harder," ever in porn again, then I'll be happy. It's something completely different for porn to start censoring words, which is just ridiculous. There's a big difference.Yes it is.

Its pointless. Porn language should be allowed to be as udalterated and raw as the act is. No matter the reason bleeping defeats the purpose of allowing uninhibited enjoyment of ones fantasy in full. Given the type of porn you are producing, if its not supposed to be in the final cut remove it.
"Bitch" is a animal breeder term for female animal. It was used for that purpose for centuries before it became an offensive term in the English vernacular. I agree that censoring porn is assinine. Even though I don't usually address a woman as a bitch, it is part of porn and should not be censored anymore than "fuck" or "cunt" should.
I think what I find fascinating are the reactions to this. Why is it so hard for people to accept the idea of "politically correct" porn? Just because it's porn gives it a free pass to be racist, homophobic, misogynistic, etc... whatever, and it doesn't matter? I don't think it's so strange that people would be offended by that word. Maybe some viewers would like to see a flick where the girl isn't insulted or talked down to as part of the routine, for once? I think you've misunderstood. I prefer porn where women are not called bitches, just as I prefer porn that isn't racist, homophobic, misogynistic etc. And there's plenty of porn that meets my criteria. People are not saying that since it's porn anything and everything should happen. The point is that since it's porn (almost) anything can happen without beeping, or you can not include the offensive thing if you want. Here the word was used but then 'beeped', and apparently not for comic value. Why not cut it, or why not not tell the performers not to use it? Why make a show of using it but beeping it?

Legal concerns. I was never aware that the word "bitch" was illegal. Maybe the folks at BangBros have come to realize that it isn't. The word "bitches" was used uncensored in the latest episode of BangBus this week. However, it was just used in regular conversation to refer to other girls, not to specifically refer to the girl in the scene. So who knows?
