for some reason the audio on some bangbros videos is lagging ALOT. for example if i skip 30 minutes into a video the audio from the first 5-10 minutes seems to be what's playing continuously. i checked other videos and it seems to only be happening with some (not all) bangbros wmv files. anyone know how to fix this? could this be a video driver issue? but then i would think it would happen with other videos also, any help is appreciated. Play with VLC media player and you can sync the audio with video as needed during playback

ok i clicked on the audio settings on VLC but i'm pretty much clueless as to what i should play with to get the video and audio to play concurrently. can anyone help me out here? i'm seeing audio device, audio channel, audio track, etc. also in preferences under audio i played around bit but i'm still having the issue :(
No, some vids are really bad, and there's nothing we can do, somebody should report it and request them re-edited. Charity Bangs tugjobs scene, for example, has no audio.

but are you having the same issue i'm having which is that once you get towards the end of the video the audio thats playing is from the BEGINNING of the video. it seems to only happen with SOME (not all) bangbros videos which seems weird and only on wmv files (which i prefer) Edited by - Opium on 6/23/2012 10:05:23 AM

This is the correct answer. If it's happening to only some of the videos, it's almost surely that individual videos are fucked-up as they are being provided from the website source. If it happens with every video you download -- and from multiple different sources -- then you may have issues with your computer. You seem to have endless computer problems. Can you describe the system you're using? If you download Speccy, install it and run it, you will be able to answer virtually any question we will want the answer to.

here are some specs about my gateway desktop: Type of Memory DDR3 Video Graphics Integrated AMD Radeon HD6530D Graphics Hard Drive Size 2TB Memory (RAM) 6GB Processor AMD Quad-Core A6-3620 Accelerated Processor 2.2GHz OS Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit i definitely seem to be having some other video issues (youtube videos appearing all black but audio is working) besides the bangbros videos that i believe are related to my driver. the thing is that the problem seems to occur only after my monitor (display) turns off BEFORE my pc enters into sleep mode. the past few days i haven't had any serious problems, last week it was in and out. not sure if i should update my drivers though since i read that could make the problem worse. Is this your computer? SX2370-US10P These should be your current drivers. They seem to have a "Hardware Vendor Detection Utility" to download, to help you in checking your system. Did you buy this system new? The updated version of your computer's CPU (you have an A6-3620) appears to be a solid consumer-level performer. Does Windows Update suggest any updates (in addition to the monthly critical updates)? And, btw, have you been keeping your monthly critical updates current? Have you updated your Flash and Java software? This is important! What browser(s) are you using? Some websites work better with certain browsers. Have you downloaded a lot of videos? Have you defragmented your hard-drive? What anti-virus/anti-malware program are you using? And, have you run it recently? Answer these questions, then I will help you some more.

yes that is my PC and yes i purchased it new. the browser i'm using is chrome. i didn't defrag my old PC from 2007-may 2012. with this one to be honest i don't have any plans on defragging it ever. are there any real downsides to that in your opinion? also how long does defragging take on average? that's the main reason i don't want to defrag (plus i read that it really isn't that important and some people have told me the same, esp. if you don't play games on your PC which i never do). on my last PC i went to defrag it sometime in 2007 and it was taking FOREVER. antivirus is AVG full version and i do update it regularly (about once a week). i still have windows updates turned off, i'm neurotic about turning them on (i know it's not good but for now i still have them off) although if the problem persists do you think that any of the windows updates could possibly resolve this issue? would i have to install ALL the updates from the past month or so since i have it turned off or could i just selectively install updates related to video driver issues? as far as the gateway driver updates they all say september 2011 so could any of those possibly help solve this issue if they're almost a year old? how do i update java software? flash software i usually get a notice for when i turn on my PC but is java also included in these updates or do i need to download something separately? get back to me when you can and thanks for the help...
IMO you are potentially getting too deep in the weeds, over something which possibly is unrelated to your PC. If Bangbros is supplying broken videos, no amount of tinkering with your PC is gonna help. Best you can do is complain and/or find some tools to attempt to repair the broken videos. Or learn to live with mp4 (assuming the mp4 versions perform better). Is the problem repeatable? Does the problematic video have sync problem every time you play it? Does the out-of-sync issue manifest itself the same identical way, every time you play it? If you patiently let it play (and don't skip forward 30 minutes), what happens to audio sync? Does a trouble-free video play trouble-free every time you play it? Does VLC perform any better/worse than whatever video player you were originally using? Yeah I know lots of question but we first need to determine if it is broken videos vs. a broken computer. Is there a small (filesize) example video you could upload to a filesharing site so others of us might help analyze it? You could PM the link if you don't want to share openly in the forum.

answers: 1-yes 2-yes 3-not that patient (although i could test it out) 4-this audio out of sync issue has ONLY happened with bangbros videos 5-the problematic bangbros videos have the same issue with all 3 video players i have
^Then I'd conclude it's defective videos and not a defective computer. A google seearch reveals other people complaining about audio problems and sync problems with Bangbros videos.

This isn't an either/or situation. As I indicated earlier, the problem is broken videos, not the computer, per se. That said, Opium has some very serious misconceptions regarding maintenance and updates, and this urgently needs to be addressed. So, there are two issues we're dealing with here. The fact that the video problem occurs only with BangBros videos, also makes me wonder if there aren't issues involving updates and using the Chrome browser that are contributing to the problem. So, Opium, are you willing to execute the updates and maintenance issues if I take the time to walk you through them? Give me a straight answer, as it is very time consuming to explain how to do these things to someone who is unfamiliar with the procedures (particularly if one is inclined to pick and choose what they will do or won't bother with, because someone else said this and that). For example, this thread, and your lack of response, was not an encouraging sign.

also for goldstein and ninja i should clarify that besides the bangbros audio issue two other weird things have happened the past few weeks: on 2 occasions after returning to my PC (after my display had turned off but before PC had entered into sleep mode, this seems to be possibly causing trouble by the way so i changed my settings so that my PC now enters sleep FIRST) white flickering lines were on my monitor (toward the top) for a few minutes. they then went away but returned when i played any video. when i shut my PC down the lines didn't return once i turned my PC back on and played video. occasionally (and randomly) a youtube video that i click on will be ALL BLACK (but the audio is still playing). if i close the page and re-open a new youtube video the problem goes away. There is a definite lack of understanding and commitment vibe that is coming across. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to invest any more time in trying to help you. Better to just walk away before we get started. Nothing personal.
^ Java and Adobe updating is separate from windows/Microsoft updates. Java and Adobe will usually nag you when an update is available or is needed. It's possible to disable the nag feature (which you may have done), and it's possible to have them in full automatic mode (which you may have done). Googlesearch "java automatic update" and "adobe automatic update" for more info. Be careful with Adobe flash; there is some issue at the moment; there's another Tech Talk thread about it (title is "Firefox problems"); not sure of the specifics or if it affects your situation.
Anyway it's right, some (many?) wmv vids have audio problems, sometimes the audio is on delay or sometimes it stops or jumps back, etc. That's why I started watching mp4 in "Mid resolution", which has the same resolution of the wmv (which is offered with only one resolution to choose from)
I've had similar problems with Bang Bros... now I have a new problem , the icon that appears in center of screen that you click on to watch video isn't there...I have a solid black screen... I also have an account with Evil Angel and it's the same on that site too... I know the problem has to be with my computer but Hulu works.... I'm a complete computer illiterate...the book Computers for Dummies is meant for me... help!!! paying for two XXX sites and neither one works... BTW: they both worked yesterday...
