To add insult to injury, the main reason I got this disc is because the back cover shows not one but two images of a reverse anal cowgirl and rac with gape. This sucks!!!!! [Link] |

Her scene with Clark was too short, though the bonus footage made up for this a bit. Myli was really good in her scene, which I found the best of the movie. I don't like Caroline DeJaie at all, and Tiffany/Blondie in the same scene didn't get to show any personality. I hope she is better in XXX Road Trip #2 (she's featured on the front cover). There's nothing wrong with the Sandra scene, but it is repetitive of her other scenes in other movies. And the final part with Cindy (now without black dye in her hair) and the other two just bored me. If Cindy had been more involved, I might have liked it better. So I found Hardball 17 to basically be Clark burning off a bunch of his boring/repetetive scenes, and I didn't much care for it. These are just my opinions, Hardz, I'm not saying at all that you are wrong. We obviously enjoy different things in Clark's work. I know plenty of people read my reviews for this site, and wonder, "What the heck is Speelie thinking, and why does he go off on those odd tangents?" I always keep in mind how many people loved Matador 10, which was not at all to my taste. Different stroking for different folks! |

Tricia D. has explained before that EA tries their best to now show stills that don't reflect the actual content, but they do make mistakes with this from time to time. When they get so many other aspects of DVD production right, I can forgive the occasional lapse here. Addendum : I'm confused. I dug out my BG5 case, and rechecked the actual DVD. On the back of the case I can't find any reverse cowgirl anal gapes, though I do see one regular cowgirl anal gape from Natalka/Lenka. While that exact moment is not in the movie, the main (not extra) footage does have her briefly gaping while riding anal cowgirl (she still has on nylons, unlike in the still), as well as having a more extensive gape sequence when she rides reverse anal cowgirl. None of the other photos on the box show any gaping, in any position. Nikki Reed is shown riding reverse anal cowgirl in one still, and the main movie indeed contains a long sequence of this, so the box doesn't seem mis-representative.

| Speelie Senior Member Fort Collins, CO 1191 Posts 5/01 | I'm back. I was thinking mainly of the Madness project, and sure enough, Madness 2 has images on the front that are from the first part, especially a shot of Agnes/Suzy Sweet. If you get the movie to see her, you'll be disappointed. The back of the same movie has Melody Kord getting doggy analled, and this isn't found in the VHS version. I was annoyed at the time, but that footage was restored in the DVD. Riviera 2 features Christiane de Nerville (aka Nannes Beaumont) in two photos on the front cover, but her sex scenes in this series are all in part 1. Other Private titles such as Matador 9 have stills, with the women looking into the still camera, that aren't found in the movie. I also found an Anabolic example. On the back of Up Your Ass 14 (and also found in the photo gallery) is a shot of Mercedes (from the last scene) getting doggy fucked by Mr. Marcus while blowing Lex. I loved this image, and serached the movie a couple of times to find it, but it didn't make the actual cut. So these things do happen even with Private and Anabolic, but I really don't consider them more than a minor problem. Edited by - speelie on Jul 15 2002 |
| tricia_devereaux Evil Angel DVD Patience is a virtue, but who wants to be virtuous? 4283 Posts 4/00 | I didn't bother responding because I HAVE replied to this before. Other companies aren't doing SIMULTANEOUS DVD/VHS releases as much as Evil Angel is, so they have more time to go back and forth between the art department and editing (if that's what they do...). At Evil Angel, very often, the movie gets finished with editing, and IMMEDIATELY goes to the DVD department. On the other end, the art department picks the pictures that go on the box cover. By the time the box cover is finished at the graphics company, the editor is well in to his next project, and since he originally saw the footage, he might see the pictures on the boxcover, and might not remember whether it made the final cut or not. We're doing our best to avoid mistakes in pictures on the boxcovers. I myself have not seen any of Beautiful Girls 5. I just wanted you all to know that whether I respond to posts or not, if the title of the thread includes the name Evil Angel, Tricia, or any of Evil Angel's movies, I read it, and pass the comments on to the appropriate people. I thought that John Stagliano's recent discussions with the person who picks Christoph's boxcovers would have all but taken care of mistakes. I myself talked to that person and Christoph's editor again today. Let's just hope that the BG5 cover was just a mistake. Keep on posting. |
