Yeah, I think the internet has opened a lot of doors for fetishes. I think people are much more free to explore them since they're not alone. If you feel totally alone in something, then you can't talk about it with anyone and just end up feeling like a freak. The internet is giving people a place to explore their sexuality anonymously.
Unfortunately, it has shown me how weird some people are though. For instance, the diaper pail society is just plain creepy to me. I just don't understand... and don't want to understand how people get off on this!
I agree with you, there's something very sexy about a women in skimpy panties (then again there's something sexy about a woman in any context). What man alive doesn't like to see a woman wearing a very short skirt sit across from him... then you get a quick glimpse of those lacey panties??? There is a lot truth to what you say. Personally, I have a lesbian fetish and before "the Net" I thought maybe it was weird and different but I certainly didn't think I had a problem because of that. I mean, it isn't that weird. But I don't see why you would have felt weird for having a panty fetish. Sure maybe it's not the commonest thing but I never would have considered it weird. I'd think it's perfectly normal for a guy to find panties sexy.
Like Oneloa said, weird is stuff like the diaper pail society. Now that is weird.

Its hard to say.
When I was younger I read a lot of books.
Little did i know my parents had a copy of the HITE Report on the book shelf, as well as the Kama Sutra and a cool book called Psycologica Sexualis.
Now I've read the most bizare fetishes and Sexual problems in the Psycologica Sexualis book.
The only thing that shocked me online is when I found out what Scatology was and followed that HORRIBLE HORRIBLE link from rame.net------------------

You know, I think my fetishes are pretty mundane. But... 
I have always been facinated by things like Modern Primitives, body modification and light S&M.
All things I would never act on in "real" life, but that have always been more than a minor curiosity to me.
So to get on-line and discover all these things I had no idea exhisted, that I can delve into and research.
