^I don't know about you but to me hope is by far what is making OF a thing because without it. Would we really be talking about OF as often as we are? The entire business model of OF is built on the hope of what might be behind the paywall. I'm curious to know how many of you guys and girls think the various articles claiming that Bella made 2 million in her first week on the platform are accurate. For her to have made that kind of money means that 200,000 people signed up in the first week. That's a lot of people. Maybe somebody in the know can confirm what Erika wrote because if I read her correctly then OF had to return a lot of money because many people complained that they were scammed when what Bella promised was not delivered and by extension Bella ultimately did not make as much money as she first claimed because a lot of it had to be refunded.
Erika kind of loses me on the argument that being limited to 50$ per Private videos is a major issue because that is a very high amount for an individual video. It's called American Capitalism. Unfortunately most Americans do not care if a sex worker can pay bills or not. They should not care. Everyone is responsible for making their own living. They should not depend on someone else, nor should Bella Thorne be responsible for sex workers.
It's a woman's prerogative to sell her body, and perform sex acts on camera, or in a hotel room, or on a cam site. However, through what is called supply and demand, people will set their price for what they are going to pay for a particular product or service.
Some men may drop $200 a month to masturbate to their favorite porn star, stripper, or cam girl. Other men will take that $200 and go to a bar or club, meet a woman, and go home with her. Some will pay an escort service $200 for sex.
So what do you pay for? Masturbating to a woman you are never going to meet, or pay to have actually sex with someone. Which is money well spent?
She did nothing wrong, and sex workers are just going to have to adjust to the marketplace. If sex workers are true business women, they will either take advantage of this situation and build a larger customer base, or just go get a new job.
