I tried both AdultDVDempire.com and XrentDVD.com
Each has problems when I tried them, but had advantages too. Xrent was faster than ADE, but you couldn't rent the newest releases for 30 days. ADE allowed you to rent a title the day it was released. Now these were the monthly plans I tried, it's been a while since I tried them so things may have changed one way or the other....
I haven't looked at urentdvds in a long time so I gave their site a quick look. The site/store is owned by Legend.
On a different note, I don't understand why online rental sites don't explain where they ship from somewhere in their help or FAQ sections. If I were going to consider signing up for a rental program I would want to know if the warehouse is in Saskatoon or New York city prior to placing my first order.
I think the biggest aspect to think of when choosing an Adult DVD rental service is its location. The link Hardware posted shows where most are located. I currently rent from adultdvdempire, and I find their service and delivery time top notch. However, I am located on the east coast and adultdvempire is located in PA, which makes it very convenient for me. I used to rent from excaliburfilms, but they were located on the west coast, so the delivery time was horrible. However, I only mention Excalibur because they have the best selection out of any Adult DVD rental service.
oooh! excalibur rocks. that is what i wanted. i don't really care about the speed, but i really want SELECTION. I have a specific taste in my porn collection. heh.
Hell any website can list every adult DVD ever made (and some that aren't even available) on there website. That doesn't mean that it won't take them months to ship it to you.
From everything I've heard, there's Bush, Empire, and XRent, and Empire runs a distant third. You can check here for a two month comparison I did between Bush and XRent.

Be warned. I also live near Fullerton (about 25 miles away) and it still took forever to get my DVDs. Sometimes as long as 5-7 days. For some reason, they just can't get it right.
I would recommend bushdvd. They're in San Diego and I get DVDs two days after they ship. When I mail them back, they usually get them the next day!
