Well, I'm not a huge compilation fan in general, since they are usually poorly edited, revenue-generation vehicles (BTW, there's not such thing as royalties in porn, so compilations mean that studios make more money with almost no expense). And usually they don't have enough of the scenes included to get into ("Wow, this is a pretty good scene! Dang, it's over already--it's been, what, two minutes?"). It's more of a teaser reel to get you to buy the full-length features...
But enough of my soapbox... Of the two you mentioned, I'd wouldn't really recommend either (based on my standards for compilations), but if I had to choose one, I'd go with Sodomania: Slop Shots. Although they are short, 2 min., clips of lots of scenes from the Sodomania series, I've read a lot of reviews that liked the tape & DVD. Personally, there are only a few girls I really like on this video, and a few that I really don't like, so I probably would pass, but that's just me.
I'd normally go for the Private disc, since Private really has their shit together when it comes to well-edited, very hardcore stuff with beautiful European women, always ending in a pretty decent cumshot. But reviews I've seen are really critical of this compilation video, with its cookie-cutter format, non-linear editing, and excessive use of slow motion. Since Private's DVDs are so expensive anyway, I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere or on one of Private's other excellent discs, such as Tatiana or The Pyramid.
