A series of 10 vignettes, each beautifully and erotically filmed, explore her imagination as she searches out elements for the perfume. Each of these sequences are named: Blue Siren, Wild Orchid, Bird of Paradise, Tiger in the Jungle, Three Musketeers, Precious Flowers, Angels, Old B&W Movie, Rhinestone Mermaid, and The Devil. Flowers are a major theme in this film, exploring the erotic ties that flowers possess (a la Robert Mapplethorpe). I guarantee that you'll never look at flowers the same way again... Notable Performances: Almost all of the women are well-known Penthouse models. At the time, this film was their hardcore debut. Back in 1997, Penthouse hadn't yet shown hardcore sex in its pages, so it was a turn-on to see these Pets do such "bad" things (akin to Teri Wiegel going from Playboy bunny to porn star). Fully half of the sequences are among the hottest I've ever seen in the genre I call "glamour sex." Perhaps Andrew Blake or Cameron Grant could film a more beautiful feature, but Philip Mond manages to hold his own while raising the sex up notches beyond either Blake or Grant. DVD Notes: OH MY GOD! Finally an adult film worthy of DVD! The film to digital transfer is as good as an adult feature could ever hope for. The soundtrack actually has good bass! Speaking of the soundtrack, there's even a Spanish language track! The film's trailer is practically Hollywood quality. If only it had a documentary or commentary track, then I think it could hold its own against most mainstream DVDs (really)! Bottom Line: This was the first adult DVD I ever bought, and it will be the last to leave my collection if I ever have to sell it. A truly great artistic porn film that's sure to be a classic and fits the DVD format well. Only a couple caveats: If you don't like the artsy genre, or if you despise lesbian sex (70% of the scenes are, at least in part, girl-girl), then this probably won't do much for you. This movie will be a classic for years to come. Hot women, hot sex (yowza!!), and visual imagery (I call it "artsy") to keep you coming back for repeated viewings! A great couples movie, though some ladies might be turned off by the excessive lesbian action (hey, it works for me!!!). [Link] |

Since I bought it over a year ago, I've tried it with several software players and three hardware decoder cards, all with either poor results or complete inability to play the disc at all.
