Best at what? Story, sex scenes, or the greatest number of tentacles?
I've seen the LA Blue Girl DVDs and the Urost... hell, I can't remember how to spell it. The Legend of the Overfiend DVDs.
In my not-so-humble opinion, the Overfiend DVDs were better. The plot was more engrossing, and there was nowhere near as much silliness as the LA Blue Girls.
I just got a copy of Demon City Shinjuku. If you can wait a few weeks, I'll try and slap a review together for you.

he's not reffering to Hentai.
Sky stuff with Akira Fubuki, Aika Miura, Maiko Yuki is usually good.
But you have to understand these movies are all censored. They have the thin mosaic. If you can live with that then go for it.
Then there are the underground movies that aren't censored. Not to sure which of those are good. Look at their screenshots to see if the girl is pretty or if you like the action.

There are some AV idol dvds & vcds which
have no mosaic.
There are two hitomi titles.
One is yuki and the other is
shi.. whatever... i'm not a japanese.
i got hitomi yuki uncensored vcd and
it's not bad.
she is very cute.
and the other and i guess more famous
hitomi shi..uncensored dvd is currently
available in some online stores.
and in some stores that dvd is already
sold out.
and you got to be careful when buying
underground japanese dvds.
Some girls are really ugly.
You must check those screenshots.
and some AVE titles are very poorly
dubbed in chinese and english.
