It depends on what you're using it for and why she doesn't like the leftovers. My wild guess - she doesn't like the taste and texture? That's my stickiest problem.
I've only tried a few of the zillions of lubes, but k-y is unappealing for handjobs if there's going to be sucking too. Astroglide is better for that, but it dries out fast and needs spit anyhow. Frankly, I'm not sure if you're supposed to eat those at all, though I have, so a lot of the time I use a pure vegetable glycerine with a little added water and natural cinnamon flavoring (but the flavoring is oil-based and would be a problem for people using condoms).
How about Wet? Lately, I've using massage oils ... Not so much for lube but just the general "lubriciousness" of the experience. GFs dig it. Helps too if you're into massage as part of your sex life.
Oils are good for external massage, but I suppose I have to point out that they aren't recommended for use with condoms (they eat the latex).
Oils are also recommended against for vaginal use. They are okay for anal sex, because the rectum is self-cleaning (whatever you put in will come out shortly). The vagina, however, relies on a balance of flora (bacteria which produce hydrogen peroxide and maintain a low pH). Putting anything in there that changes that can lead to a suppression of the normal, helpful bacteria and an increase in yeast and 'bad' bacteria - yeast infections and vaginitis (even semen and water-based lubricants have an effect). Oils are sticky and persist in the vagina. Sweetened lubricants or foods should also be avoided. Douching leads to a very large INCREASE in these problems, by removing all the helpful bacteria.
A minimum of foreign products should be used vaginally. And if there is a flare-up of vaginitis or odor, there is one thing that is helpful to douche with - live culture yogurt has helpful bacteria called lactobacillus acidophilus. A teaspoon or two of live culture yogurt mixed in a half cup of water, and douche in just until some drips out . More is not better - you are just injecting a bit of acidophilus, not washing out the rest of the normal flora. Used at first itch, and repeated later in the day if necessary, it's as effective as prescription or over-the-counter drugs. If you can find pure acidophilus in tablet form (not capsules), they are a very effective suppository, and great for travel.

The ones that say "light" after like Wet Light or ID Glide Light are less sticky than the originals. Although they don't have nonoxynol-9, the spermicide, so not good to help protect against STDs.
I'm a big fan of Wet Light.
Also of Wet Platinum, but that would probably be too thick for her.
And Eros for Women (harder to find and much more expensive) is fabulous.

Which could be a good thing. Apparently, about half of the women who use it experience bad reactions to nonoxynol-9 (rashes). And it's recommended that you never use it for anal sex at all. Here's one article that also points to other links.
What I found after some research is that Liquid Silk is the lubricant most generally thought of as the best by various sex/health sites. (From personal experience, it's very nice.) The makers of Liquid Silk (BodyWise) also make something called Maximus which is a bit thicker and better for anal sex.

For me and the wife, LittleFerret, Wet Platinum works for absolutely everything. Also, O'My, a natural hemp-based product, is very good. Try the kiwi flavored.
i really like the Eros line of lubes. (http://www.eros-uk.co.uk/) I have found the lite , womans, and classic all to be great. The only one i was less fond of was the liquid one as unlike the others it had a slight smell.

DB once sent me to this site called blowfish that had a lube sample pack. It was a pretty good mix of small bottles of lube. I still haven't used them all especially the thicker ones since we never really needed really thick lube yet (no anal or fisting yet )
