It seems like the most popular branch of current porn is the more violent/rough stuff... but I must assume there is probably some more fun porn out there, things where everybody seems to have a fun time, there isn't anything violent like choking or attempts to choke the actress by deep throating or violent anal(which is not to say that there wouldn't be a variety of positions or situations)... more things along the line of the fun evident in Batman XXX. Any suggestions?
First thing that comes to mind is Rocki Whore Picture Show. I watched it recently, and it's lots of fun. Also, a couple of outstanding Wicked flicks: The One and Powertool Massacre. The latter is actually violent, but in a campy comedy way that's part of the narrative.
I hate to sound negative on here so often, but I don't find much modern porn to be generally positive or have much of an all-around fun vibe. Wish I did, especially with the fun stuff. I thought the Not Bewitched XXX film was fun, as was Justice League of Pornstar Superheroes. Edited by - aplus on 11/9/2011 3:08:48 AM

Thanks for representing with this title! Of course I'm biased but I think this title was very underrated upon its release. I'm glad to see people who enjoyed it still posting about it. Roads To Moscow / Twitter: @roadstomoscow
^ I love it. I agree, it's vastly underrated. I wrote about it in a paper I presented at an academic conference, along with Sleeping Around (another favourite of mine that would fit this thread). There's some really impressive work by writer/director/all performers in both these flicks. I still think about that Voodoo/Nicole scene in The One -- what a classic. A colleague of mine borrowed both films after hearing my presentation, and she loved them too.
I do recommend Batman XXX if you've not seen it - it captures the vibe of the series pretty well and is lots of fun. Since so many people are recommending The One, I really need to track that one down! I assume if it's got Voodoo, it's also got Nicole Sheridan? As a fan of the original Rocky Horror, will the new one play upon the old one in a clever way, or is it just window dressing?

^ Yes, Nicole Sheridan is also in The One. Wicked Pictures' The Rocki Whore Picture Show: A Hardcore Parody has gone over really well with fans. If you love the original, I think you'll like this rendition too. Roads To Moscow / Twitter: @roadstomoscow
Thanks. I'm one of the weird fans (I think there may be only two of us in the world) who prefers the movie Rocky Horror experience to the live theatre experience... it may be interesting to see what it's like. I wasn't convinced by the box in the shop, but I'll probably give it a try now! I see Sleeping Round has my fave Sammie Rhodes in it, which makes it a must track down for me. :)
As a fan of the original Rocky Horror myself, I can tell you that the parody does indeed play upon the old one. You're especially going to love the guy who plays Frank N Furter in that version. You should definitely see it.
Several recommendations for The One prompt me to ask for further input: I see it is directed by Jonathan Morgan and (I gather from a review) written by Stormy Daniels, yes? I must confess that Morgan's sense of humor leaves me cold; I found such Morgan movies as Hercules and Space Nuts excruciating. On the other hand, Stormy's movie Operation: Desert Stormy was very charming. So, given the parentage of The One, which should I expect: Daniels' light-hearted romp, or Morgan's godawful buffoonery?
^ Stormy wrote, Morgan directed -- same deal with Powertool Massacre, which is another of my favourites. I say go for it. Stormy is awesome in both flicks. Also, Morgan's Stormy-starrer What's a Girl Gotta Do is good.
It's decades since I watched it live, but a couple of years ago, I rented the DVD. I saw qualities I hadn't imagined before. Do you think anyone will ever do the parody as (I think) it should be done, as a poly-sexual extravaganza? (I know Frank-N-Futer is "a sweet transvestite," but it seems to me that a porn version would scream out for a transexual treatment. If not, at least mix straight and gay scenes into one movie.) Did Wicked include any audience footage? If I were doing it, I would have an "extra" where we see the audience "perform" while they watch it on a big screen.
It's still best to see it in a movie theatre. That would be cool, and I would accept that. In "Rocki Whore" it was only hinted it because it's not accepted in straight porn. It doesn't matter what went on in the original movie. It's not accepted under any circumstances whatsoever. No, it doesn't. That would have been a great idea, though. 8868
