I placed an order for a half-dozen discs with this French company after I heard they stocked La Femme du Pecheur . I must say I was impressed - I placed the order Tuesday lunchtime, and took delivery less than 24 hours later. I chose the Chronopost option, an extra 6 Euros over their standard shipping of 15 Euros.

I should note that their regular prices are on the high side, especially for US imports, but they are roughly in the same ball park as Adulte DVD X or Cyber DVD X, give or take a Euro or two, and they do have a fair selection of sale titles. However, sale items are excepted from their free shipping offer.

The only thing that I was unhappy with was that in the small print on the shipping label was the phrase "contenu: DVD Adulte". So much for discretion!

Also, if ordering, be aware that their forms are all in French, though easy enough to follow.

Was it just me or do they send all their packages ' well wrapped ' . Took me the best part of five minutes to get all the sticky tape off and open the box . Now there's a postman repellant if ever I saw one !

My French stinks , though I'm trying to work on that . They sent me an email a day after my order which I think changes the shipping method from colissimo to prioritaire .

Who knows what this really says though . Sheesh , it's like a foreign language to me !

It arrived quickly enough and in fine condition ( unopened , with boxes ) so who am I to complain .

For American releases it looks cheaper to buy directly from the states ( unless you're German and worried about customs ) or at the least try EroDVD . For Euro porn it seems best to shop around between the 3 sites as there are some substantial savings to be had . Example : Salieri movies are 32 to 38 euros on BestDVDx , 23 to 33 euros on AdultDVDx , and 19 to 29 euros on CyberDVDx .

Lee O, thanks for that - actually, it was your post about La Femme du Pecheur that put me on to them. Nice one!

My so-so translation is that the email simply says your order has been sent from our warehouse and that it's due to reach you in 24/48hrs by "colissimo suivi" (a next day delivery, I think, please correct me if wrong) if you're in France, or by priority recorded delivery if you're a foreigner!

But if you've chosen Chronopost, it's obviously even quicker.

You're right about the wrapping & tape. It was a bugger to open!
