Although not a fan of bi flicks or straight ones I have to admit Mass Appeal was quite hot!

The scene though that I found to be pretty hot is at the end with TJ and Cloe in a bathtub, he gets fucked with a dildo and then Rick Chase walks in. The three head to the kitchen where the two guys are kneeling up on top of the counter, she plays with their asses, before shoving a double ended dildo up both their asses! Watching these two guys ass to ass shoving that dildo back and forth was a turn on! And both these guys are really cute! They eventually shoot their loads on her tits and both shoot a nice load, she’s even quite impressed.

Alot of stores have it for sale...or do you mean does a member have one for sale?

Thanks a lot, I'll keep this review in mind. You would not happen to have other suggestions I would not have considered?

"Alot of stores have it for sale...or do you mean does a member have one for sale?"

Indeed, that is my query. The prices on this item are... ridiculous. Adult DVD Empire is selling it at 50$US. So, if any member could make a deal on it, it would be much better for myself.

That's another question: why the hell are bisexual movies twice as expensive as the straight ones (or gay ones, I think)? It's a trend I observe with most bisexual movies (those worth watching, that is). It's because of the smaller market they touch; they need more money because they sell less?

I haven't actually seen these; however they have gotten good press and a friend of mine (whom I trust in matters porn) says they are great:

The 'Goosed' series - There are three of them, but I think the third has not yet been released on DVD.

Bisexual movies and "good" quality are very, very hard to find. Mass Appeal's probably the closest thing to quality that the genre will get, unfortunately. I've seen a lot of bi movies, and there are only a very few that I'm actually impressed enough with to keep in my collection.

I enjoyed Goosed quite a bit, though it's an acquired taste and I've heard from some people that it looks too amateur. The beginning has a lot of chatter and it takes a good ten or fifteen minutes to get down to action. The trailer for the second Goosed! looks even better, but alas, I haven't gotten a chance to check that one out.

There was one other bi flick that I've heard was good. Miss Kitty's [something something].

There's a dearth of bi titles by Over There Productions and discs directed by Karen Dior. Those have nearly the same set-up every time and are so-so to dull on the quality scale.

My general impression of all the Karen Dior titles I've seen - gay or bi - is that she should not have wasted the production money on film, videotape, whatever.

Here are the bisexual titles currently listed in the ADT database sorted by studio - as I write this, 91 titles.

Here is a second search based on studios who often (I didn't say always) produce quality product - a short list of only 7 titles, including Miss Kitty's Litter . I'm not saying that they are all good - just that they are where I would start.

How about you posting a list of those you've seen that you liked - or better yet, post reviews of them.

"I enjoyed Goosed quite a bit, though it's an acquired taste and I've heard from some people that it looks too amateur."

I have seen the 1st one and do think it is one of the best. I also have to say that the thing I liked the less is the amateur, no-budget feel of it. Are the two others any better on this aspect, can anyone say?

"There was one other bi flick that I've heard was good. Miss Kitty's [something something]."

I have heard of it. I did first in this quote from the great and beloved Tina Tyler (do you read me Tina? ;) )...

Tina Tyler: "I would try Catalina titles... the Bi Dolls series is good and very hilarious as well as Switchcraft (from the same company). All Worlds has put out a few good ones as well... Read Bi All and Miss Kitty's Litter are fun."

I'd like to check these out, but, again... I think the only place I found them, the production companies' sites, sell them at a ridiculous price.

Now, as a new request, I want to ask does anyone have THESE titles for sale/trade???

Bi Dolls series
Switchcraft
Read Bi All
Miss Kitty's Litter

As always, thank you all.

And... THANKS the_izer. Very nice of you to help.

Your best bet may be to rent a few at XRentDVD. They seem to have a decent selection. Sure, most of them look like those Karen Dior crapathons, but there are a few titles in there that may be good:

Goosed
Goosed Again
Mass Appeal
Big Dick Bi's (Has Tina Tyler on the cover! Calling Tina... Is this any good? It's a 4 hour comp, though, so it's probably crap)
Biagra (another one with Tina Tyler, but haven't seen it)
BiTanic (no idea if this is good, but the cover kills me!)

BiTanic is also Karen Dior. It was actually the first bisexual title I got because, like you say joeblow, the cover alone is too good to resist. And I was expecting a fun spoof on Titanic. It's not really a spoof, and unfortunately the action's pretty lacking. :( I reviewed it for DVD Empire -- you can check that out here. Unless I'm mistaken, Biagra is Dior's work as well (ugh).

If anyone really wants to see BiTanic, I'd be willing to trade for something to save you a few bucks.

id: I haven't seen any of the titles you mentioned, otherwise I'd be able to help ya out with comments. Though if you liked the Am style of Goosed, it may be worth it to check into Encyclopedia Erotica Vol. 1 (also starring... Tina Tyler!). Not sure what it is exactly, but a few of the scenes in this really yank my crank.

I don't understand why Karen Dior has any respect in the industry at all. Every single video/DVD I've seen with her name attached to it was, IMHO, garbage. For me, she is a DISqualifier when making a purchasing decision.

One of my favorites, Curious, can be found on goodvibes.com for $35.00. I know that is still steep for a DVD, but it's the best price I've seen for a bisexual DVD. Plus, it has Tina Tyler in it and as always, she is amazing!!

Although it's catagorized as straight porn, you might also consider Tina Tyler's Going Down. In the final scene, two men trapped in an elevator (Drew Andrews and Paul Carrigan) give each other hand jobs while Tina Tyler watches on a security camera and masturbates. Though limited in scope, the guy-guy action is quite explicit, and both men lick the cum off their own hands. I was not expecting this type of action when I first played the movie, so it caught me off guard and made me really juicy. There's also a decent biker dyke scene between Kimi Lixx and Kylie Ireland that involves nasty talk and four finger penetration (though like many lesbian scenes, it ends with an unfinished feel). The remaining three scenes are straight.

I've only written about a third of my review as of this morning, but as usual, I agree almost entirely with Astroknight's comments. Like his rating, mine is teetering between 3.5 stars and 4 stars (which from me, means I really like it). And Going Down is so much more affordable than a typical bi title.

I'll second the final scene that YogaGrrl mentioned between Drew and Paul in Tina Tyler's Going Down . I did NOT expect it, and am normally a little on the homophobic side. Despite that, I was very impressed with the scene. It's done very well, is explicit, and has a nice sense of fun and naughty public sex. About the only thing that I think might have been missing was the guys licking off, or at least sampling, each other's hands, but this might have gone a little far for some of the "target audience".

Astro, are you saying they didn't sample each other's cum? That wouldn't be surprising, since both Paul and Drew are gay porn stars, and gay men eating each other's cum is not something that reputable porn companies show.

It's too bad, because that's one of my most favorite things to see

They did not sample each others' ejaculate, only their own. I'm sad to learn that it's uncommon for men to eat each others' cum in gay porn. It seems like it would be such a natural and loving conclusion to a scene.

It would be great, but, in general, safe sex guidelines forbid it and the gay porn industry, for the most part, has been exceptionally good at promoting safe sex. They have had to be: they've lost almost an entire generation of gay porn performers to HIV/AIDS.

I understand. It's not something worth risking lives over.

Tina Tyler's Going Down is actually the first movie I've ever watched where a man of any orientation has sampled even his own cum. I found that alone to be pretty hot.

But sharing cum is a whole different level of connection. When I swallow my man's semen, I'm very aware that I'm taking part of his body and literally blending it into mine. The molecules within that precious fluid are digested and to some extent briefly incorporated into my own cellular structure. So for me, at least, it's a very spiritual form of bonding (besides which, it tastes good). I can't imagine that it would really be much different for any lovingly committed gay couple.

In hetero porn, of course, women swallow men's cum all the time. I suppose it has to be different for gay porn, but I wish I lived in a perfect world.

Hmmmm. Okay. I guess with how many hetero scenes end in facials, and now with swallowing becoming more common in hetero porn I assumed it would happen some in gay porn also. I can completely understand it not happening, and don't blame them for not showing it. As YogaGrrl said, it's not something worth risking lives over.

Wow! I must admit I'm surprized this thread reached a second page. Every company owner I know says there's no market for bi porn... I guess this thread is proving them wrong!
Please bear with the length of this reply as I'm going to answer a few different points and quereies.

First, to ID, there are some bi movies of quality, but I can count them on both hands. I'm glad that Gay Satyr pointed you in the direction of a past thread where I had given some reccommendations. All of those vids have hot sex and are fun to watch... if a little campy.
Even though it's not available on dvd (and probably won't ever be) Goosed for 3 is definately worth dusting off the VCR for... and I say this objectively, not as the director.

As to the Karen Dior comments in this thread, I wholeheartedly agree! I'm so sick of seeing his/her living room/bedroom in EVERY movie he/she makes. However, that being said. I couldn't adore Ms. Dior more as a person and an entertainer.

There was a question posed about a 4 hour comp called Big Dick Bi's... although I haven't seen it, I generally stay away from comps, as the scenes are taken out of context and to me context is important.

Encyclopedia Erotica Volumes one and Two are both quite good if you like the vignette apptoach. There really is something for everyone in those movies.

Even though it wasn't mentioned here, I also highly reccommend Mile Bi Club from All World's, directed by the always diva-esque, Chi Chi LaRue.

As to all the talk regarding the final scene of Going Down... woohoo!!!!! I was hoping to stir up a little contraversy with that scene
For the record, the reason I didn't ask the guys to share ejaculate was that since the scene was only mutual masturbation, I didn't require the actors to bring tests with them. Without said tests, I didn't feel good about having them share fluids. Better safe than dead!

I've rambled enough. Thanks again for all of the kind words. And YogaGrrl... YOU ROCK!

Tina,

Considering the quality of the bisexual porn produced by almost every company producing bisexual porn, they are right - a sad state of affairs. Their problems are that they misjudge their market and expect their rubes to pay for garbage.

In my experience, most of the buyers of bisexual porn gravitate towards the gay world because the str8 world tends to be so irrationally homophobic. (see: DAP and DPP a little gay? ) Add to that, they are tired of feeling ripped off (as are gay porn aficionados). Lousy scripts, way-below-"B"-grade actors (especially some of the more repugnant gay-for-pay Cali bois with holier-than-thou attitude and chips on their shoulders) & even skankier actresses, poor-to-nonexistent production values and inflated prices define 90% of the bisexual porn produced. Is it any wonder bisexual porn doesn't sell?

In the very early days of VHS video porn, I bought a bisexual title (I don't remember what it was but it was awful). I heard from my friends that all the other titles were just as bad so I didn't even bother looking at the genre for years until porn DVDs hit the market a few years ago. I picked up an early bisexual DVD title called Offering when it became available - also awful - and so I abandoned the genre again until I read that Ken Ryker was making Mass Appeal . Ryker has always been one of the nicer gay-for-pay actors and his gay videos have always been better than average so I decided to try once more. I have to say that it is actually pretty decent - a 3-1/2 out of 5 points on my scale.

With the Goosed series and a few other titles, you [meaning both you individually and the industry] have provided a much higher quality product than is usual in bisexual porn. I hope that sales have been appropriately good - if they haven't, you might re-examine your marketing tactics - they should sell well. (BTW - why isn't Goosed 3 going to be released on DVD?) But there is room for a lot more - it boils down to quality and value for money spent. Plus, at this point, you are going to have to do a lot of marketing to convince buyers that your product is worthy of their attention.

Do me a favor: Watch what I consider to be the three of the best gay videos I've ever seen and use them as examples when you create more bisexual titles. They are <iManWatcher </i , <iThick as Thieves </i and <iIsle of Men </i - all from Kristen Bjorn's Sarava Productions. Give me bisexual titles that compare in quality to Bjorn's best in terms of production values, story lines, model looks & sexual heat and I will buy every title you produce.

Chi Chi LaRue (a.k.a. Taylor Hudson, Lawrence David & probably a few other names as well) is a prolific director and master of the three-video porno weekend shoot. She is also a master of exaggeration: most of her low-budget features have the highest budgets ever encountered on gay porn shoots and most of her featured stars are paid double her entire budget for any of the the videos in which they appear (major sarcasm here!!!). Most of her output - say two-thirds - is crap; however, a little of it - say one-tenth - is actually very good. You just have to pick carefully. I'd highly recommend that you preview before you buy her titles.

I too wonder why Goosed for 3 is not on DVD. I abandoned buying porn on VHS years ago and have a genuine interest in the Goosed series.

Unfortuantely, customers interested in bi porn have a 90% chance of picking up something that's crap because that's what's out there. I can see why most companies shy away from it, because it would be very difficult to try and differentiate yourself from the bottom of the barrel releases on the shelf at retail. If someone dips their toe into the bi pool and gets burned, chances are they ain't going to try it again.

Then again, I think there's a lot of guys who are just "curious" about it. Even if it's something like that scene in Tina Tyler's Going Down. (I wonder if that scene has been well-received by a straight male audience--anyone know?) It is a bit more difficult, however, when bi releases are put in the same section with gay releases. In my own experience, it's unlikely any straight-and-curious guy is going to shop the gay section just to get a bisexual video (using the argument that, "hey, I'm not gay).

And, unless I'm mistaken, if you're gay you're probably not interested in a bi release (because, GaySatyr has pointed out--there's a lot of gay stuff that's better). Sometimes I wonder how straight guys can be into pee vids but freaked out when another guy's member is in their face.

I'm sure a lot of gays would not be interested in bisexual titles, but I'd bet that a lot of others WOULD be - if there were anything of quality to be found easily.

But you are right: it would be really great if one could check a "sticky" box (or boxes) on some of the store sites that choose the sexuality (Str8, TS/TV, Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Mixed) of ones searches, another "sticky" box (or boxes) to select race (Asian, Black, Caucasian, Hispanic/Latino, Interracial, Other) and a third "sticky" box to choose format (VHS, DVD). Then one could do some really effective searching using the traditional methods with themes, actors/actresses, studios, titles, etc.

Well, I'm not gay, or am I?

I love she-males, does that make me gay? Oh...

I don't care.

I know that when I watched Fallen Angel III, I was mesmerized by Cole Tucker, something about him made me get a funny feeling in my stomach.

The problem with gay titles and bi titles is the price and lack of resources for reviews. Even on this site I don't think there are many reviews for bi titles. And the "straight" reviews outnumber the gay reviews.

I know I've reviewed several she-male DVDs, and I am one of the few that have (or will?)

I just noticed that even though Mile Bi Club is out on DVD, it isn't showing up at any of the AdultDVDTalk affiliates yet. It is available from All Worlds Video, though. I ordered once from them (a long time ago) but I don't remember if it was a good experience.

Anyway, they are having a big sale, with $15 off alot of their DVDs and Videos, including Mile Bi Club. $35 isn't bad for a bi flick. It must be pretty good, since Tina's in it, and it won Chi Chi best bi director last year.

They also have Bi American on sale, starring hunky Mark Slade. (Is this one any good?)

*UPDATE*
Miss Kitty's Litter is on sale for $35 too!

Hmmm... actually, they have the VHS for $35. The DVD is still $50. Strange. I just got a snail mailing from All Worlds today, and it says ALL Videos and DVDs are $15 off, and even shows Miss Kitty's Litter DVD for $35. If you are interested in that one, I'd call them up. I'm sure they'll give you the cheaper price. Just tell them you saw it for $35 in their mailing.

Yeah... even though it's not very good, I keep BiTanic around because it's got kitsch value. Just like Edward Penishands in the straight category. I don't have that one, but if I did, even though I've heard it's not very good, I'd keep it for the humor.

...and never watch it.

Well, I found a fairly decent bi flick called Bi-Bi Baby. -- it's no 5-star blockbuster, but it certainly beats out Bi-Tanic. And considering how difficult it is to find something worthwhile in this genre, I figured I'd mention it. A couple of the dudes are kinda skuzzy, but a few are pretty hot--same with the chicks. All the scenes are 2 on 1, with plenty of actual bisex goin on (unlike bi-tanic). Anyway, you can get it pretty cheap so I'd say it's worth checking out...especially as a rental.

Thanks to Chillin and everyone who helped me and others to find good material. On the same fascinating subject, I'd like to sugest somthing else of interest: bisex erotica on internet. As hard as it may be to believe, there IS bi erotica of quality on the WWW. One must look hard to get anything though (peculiar sentence... no pun intended). Here are some of the best sites for quality bisexual erotica like we love.

THREE PILLOWS -} www.threepillows.com
This is the most spectacular web site of bisexual erotica in the world. The webmasters are dedicated, friendly and close to the readers. The site offers an update each week of new pics, movies, etc. It harbors a vast library of erotica of all kinds: solo, straight, bi, group, gay, girl loving boy with strap-on, lesbian, etc. It comes in various formats: images, movies, written and audio stories (from writers or readers, true or fictive), etc. Many times, exclusive pics and movie files, made by the house with their own very good looking models are posted each month and are inspired by requests on the board. The site also has a personal ad forum and a store. This is a fabulous website made with dedication. Highly reccomended. Pay site.

VASSILIA -} vassilia2.free.fr/sommaire.htm
Interesting site in french. It is dedicated to marginal fantasies rare on the net. One of them happens to be bisexuality. They offer a nice collection of single pics and pic series. You can also find pics of transexuals and other rare and often peculiar fantasies. Impressive for a non-professional site. Wall to wall, absolutely free site.

WORLD SEX -} www.worldsex.com
This is the best site in the world of free links to series pics pages. It also happens to often feature bi pages links. Worth a look. Free site of links to sample pages.

ADULT CHECK -} www.adultcheck.com
The popular adult pass system actually has a bunch of bi loving sites and some are actually bearable! Take a look at it when you've seen the others. Pay pass site.

Hey Tina (Tyler)! Did you ever check out any of those? You would surely like some of it. Care to make comments or additions to the list? That goes for everyone else. Feel free to enrich my listing and to comment. 'till next time.
