[I am currently in the process of changing several early reviews that I did, but the ratings will, remain the same. Just making them more readable.] Plus, I am 2 reviews away from number 200. I've gotten quite a few comments/questions since I started to add the link to my e-mail. I am by no means a porn expert, but I do know a bit. So don't hesitate to ask a question, make a comment/complaint, or a suggestion. Tell me: Are they : Good? or Bad? Do they help you in your purchasing decisions : Yes? or No? Well as you know your Service Animal reviews (1+2) lead me to purchase both so when I see your name against a movie review I will always read yours. Something I have seen someone else do which I like a lot is images from the films. Reviewer Kobiata does this and its a great tool. Lets you see what the girls look like etc. Not sure how much trouble that would be, Kobiata seems like the only person who does it but I like it a lot. But I know that when I buy a DVD, I like to know a little bit about what goes on in the scene, to see if it has what I like. (example: Who gets what done to them and who does it to them. Occasionally I list how long the scenes are, like on comps, and others) I try to keep my reviews informative and to-the-point. (I will look into, maybe, putting a screen shot or two in my reviews. Right now it is too time consuming, but things change, so if I have time, I may put some screen shots in my reviews.) [Link]

Anything I give an overall rating of 4 or 4.5 will be highly recommended, but may have some flaws. Anything I give an overall rating of 3 or 3.5 will be good, but not great, and could could have a few or more flaws. Still recommended, but not as highly. Anything I give an overall rating of 2.5 will be lacking and could have several flaws. Anything I give an overall rating of 2 on, buy with extreme caution, if you dare. Anything I give an overall rating below 2 is highly avoidable. I also take all of the other ratings very seriously, if I give any other rating of a 2.5 or above, it will be good or great, but could also be lacking. I want to know whether something is what I am looking for or not. Often times the promotional language from the producer is all that is available and that is written to sell the product. Too many times it does not accurately describe what the movie actually is. I have spent money ordering something that I thought was one thing (based on promotional language) and found out that was just hype and the DVD was lame. Another thing that I like about your reviews is that you let me decide whether or not I like something based on a description of what is happening in the movie. I don't like reviews where people try to tell me what I will and will not like. Thanks and keep up the good work and we'll keep reading! Putting the time in as you do to write a detailed review is great - instead of just typing a couple of lines about something. :) [Link]
BIGmike B-I-G-m-i-k-e 2335 Posts 3/01	Posted - Jan 19 2002 : 12:53PM I finally reviewed two other DVDs that I felt deserved an OVERALL RATING OF 5.0: Everybody Wants Some Snake Pit After exchanging emails with another member, I just had to buy the Everybody Wants Some DVD and I'm glad I did. I also reviewed the other two "Everybody Wants Some" DVDs, for all those who love all-girl all-anal action. Example: I'll list who gets done and by whom, without going into too much exhaustive detail. I'll try to keep it short and the to the point (much like my review of Mission to Uranus). I'll do some commenting on performers looks, attitudes, and overall performance. I will also give more opinions on the directing and try to pick out flaws. Give more of my impression of the film. -afterall, I aim to please. I want people to take with them, from my reviews, the satisfaction that I provided the neccessary info to make a great purchase. I will not totally change my way of reviewing, but I will take constructive criticism. Which I have recieved a bit of lately. A person can skip through the play-by-play if they don't like it. But they rely on someone who's actually seen the video to know if the people are energetic, good looking. And you can add your opinions to the facts. i.e.: I didn't particularly find Jane Doe very attractive because I don't go for the silicone look. OR I love hard anal sex, and these girls obviously do too. [Link]

This way "raincoaters" will get to read the action, to decide based on that. Those who want opinions, I will throw a bunch more in, on whether or not the DVD is worth it. And I will comment more on the sex, facial expressions, energy, etc... It's okay, though, because people who are searching for interracial titles will be able to find Heavy Metal more easily now, and it sounds like a great DVD! You've written 1 hex as many reviews as me, so I don't consider myself qualified to advise you on style. I did go back, though, and randomly read one of your reviews from about two weeks ago, so I could better see the differences. For what it's worth, I really like the change from scene breakdowns to scene highlights. I also think your subjective comments and insights are worth including, and I hope you continue to do so. It makes your reviews very interesting to read. I'm actually quite glad that different reviewers have different styles, and I always read as many different opinions as I can find before I make my purchases. [Link]

I can say that my approach from my first review, to my middle reviews, to now; has changed. Hopefully for the better. Thank you, I am trying out another format, which will be seen tomorrow, I give the scene breakdown (abbreviated), for the "raincoaters", but I also give my thoughts on the performances and so on, right after the breakdown. I really enjoy positive feedback (or negative) whatever floats your boat. I for one, don't care to have the sex acts broken down like a laundry list, the quality is much more important, and you conveyed this fine. I just wish I had the time to read more, as well as the reviews of all the excellent writers here. I too enjoy the different styles, and my own reviews vary as much as the flicks I've watched, it depends on my mood. I know myself, if I try to keep a certain format, or worry over too many details, it becomes too 'job like'. Talk about going out with bang! The end of March saw me giving two DVDs directed by Jules Jordan an overall of a 5, as well as a 5 to a Diabolic DVD. Great way to close out a month. That title is Rain Coater's Point of View, and let me tell ya, it was a tough decision. I was debating whether or not I should have deducted a half point because the title was misleading. But as you now know, I gave it the full 5. I still have a whole lotta reviews to do... As always... Let me know what you think about my reviews. So if i find a title with a perfomer i really like, i check out who has done reviews on that film, and i always choose you or Rogsreview first because you are very objective to how the film is. Most others talk shit about certain performers, i don't like that. You never do that. [Link]

I haven't gotten around to reviewing the second volume because I had to watch this one first, to see the incredibly cute Taylor Rain, and Sugar Kane, and a bunch of other newbies getting fucked. This one was very well done, and the bonus scenes were great as well. I have a few more reviews to complete, to end this month of reviews.
