I just got a BB 8330 Curve and I use a MacBook Pro. I just found out that, currently, you cannot get a BB Desktop Mananger on your computer unless you have a PC. RiM is apparently working on an option for Mac. In the meantime, is there any way for me to download a ringtone I created from my Mac to my phone. I heard about Pocketmac, but don't know what it does and I heard that it royally sucks. Any help is appreciated!

I've been able to drag and drop to my Sony phone from my Mac, just by connecting it via USB. Without using any special software.
Have you tried that?

A blackberry can work as a USB solid state drive but I don't think that's what he's looking for. The Desktop Manager software package is the "interface" to the phone. It's the only way to configure certain features of a blackberry like syncing your contact lists with Outlook.

You're right, I skimmed the original post and just saw the ringtone question.
