Unfortunately hovering away or entering a single keystroke closes the popup. I tried holding ALT whole hovering and it doesn't enable the popup, so I'm kinda stuck unless the name is given on the video file, which it rarely is anymore. I've never asked for or seen anyone offer a workaround for it, but then I've never seen anyone criticize someone for posting preview data because they 'did it wrong'.
