Maitland Ward happened , a mainstream actress, (though I had no Idea who she was before porn, never ever seen a soap opera nor the sit-com she starred in) Who is not just doing porn , she was doing IR porn already in her pro-am shoots, she had no concern about any career, stigma in the industry itself for doing IR , she literally gave a flying fuck to anything related to the usual reasoning we heard about IR .
She did even more , in her interview with Captain Jack she said she's very picky about her working partners , she must like them as person , she must feel comfortable with them, either while shooting and when not .If you take a look to what she did so far she did lots of IR scenes, more than anything else possibly rivaling with her G/G scenes. This means she felt very at ease working with black men.
In a few months she destroyed and keeps destroyng any whisper , myth or rumor about doing Ir and working with black men setting a very sparkling example to any new actress that just entered n porn .
IR fans should praise her asking for more women with an attitude like hers.
Do anybody see anything as such?
I'm seeing negative comments but not from the usual racists , as incredible as it might seem from the IR fans themselves.
^Incredibly well said LCF. I agree that a mainstream actress (however obscure) jumping over to the porn world and doing IR from day one is great for the industry as a whole and especially the IR segment.
I have so far only seen Maitland's two Blacked scenes and I really enjoyed both of them. I have not watched "Drive" from Deeper which is one of the biggest movies of the year, but I have heard mostly positive reviews on it aside from the transgender and gay stuff that was put into the film. Most of the positive praise has gone to Angela White and Maitland Ward.
I can't disagree more about girls shooting IR too early. If anything, I wish the interracial tag would disappear entirely and that the scenes are just considered normal BG.

Calling her a mainstream actress is a stretch, she has exactly zero acting credits (imdb) since 2007. Yes, she was on a sitcom in the early 2000's but she has been completely unknown or irrelevant outside of the niche cosplay scene since then.
She's a middle-aged woman whose former job landed her a spotlight doing porn, some of which is IR. While I wouldn't attack her for the choices she makes it's hardly a reason to celebrate either, especially how lackluster her scenes are.
You remember her from the show, dig her look, etc... that's all good but can we try and stay grounded a bit on this as a whole?
Mainstream =/= bigstar , you don't have to be famous or big , you don't have to be young, nor particularly active , I'd call Joanna Cassidy a mainstream actress even thoughher last work I can remember was Blade Runner and I only remember her name just because she was in that movie.
Maitland was a mainstream actress as for her age she's younger than many other porn acresses out there she also doesn't look her age , surely not a middle aged woman
As for the scene I only watched a couple and I was pleased by her dirty talking with Jason Luv

What I was trying to get to is that at some point you stop being called a mainstream actress, namely within a few years of actually acting. If it were an actress who is currently doing mainstream work or who just stopped working I think the title sticks and its fair to apply it. After twelve years of not working in the industry I don't consider the title appropriate, probably just semantics though.
As far as age, she's 42, in porn terms that borderline GILF and definitely on the wrong side of MILF. No getting around it or dodging it, she's more than twice the age of her peers and opinions will vary as to how those years have stacked up on her.
Finally her performance was exactly that, a performance. While every scene is acting in some regard the really good ones make it easy to believe it's real, she opened up the 'how to sound like a pornstar' playbook and started at chapter one, and it showed.
I disagree with this. I've never seen anyone in their early 40s marketed as a GILF. And over the past decade, more and more female performers are lasting well into their 40s and looking damn good doing it. Kianna Dior is 50 and still looks great. As it becomes more and more common for females to perform past 40, I don't think there's anything extreme about her being 42. Even if a lot of her peers are half her age.

^ I was exaggerating for effect, it's the porn industry... depending what site you look at the same actress is the MILF or stepdaughter in the same week. Treading lightly on the rest of the post, some women age better than others.
My point is that without the sitcom 12 years ago she wouldn't be doing these sites with the combination of her age, porn presence, and overall appearance. If you have doubts head over to MomPOV and then look for the attention their performers have garnered. If one of them had a part on a sitcom in 2002 it might be different, but I think it's a more realistic portrayal of how this would've otherwise turned out.
But in the end, as always, this is all subjective between we the consumers.
^Fair enough. I won't lie that the fact I watched the show she was in as a kid adds to her appeal for me, but do many others this clearly isn't the case. And while it's highly subjective, I find her porn presence to be excellent for someone so new to the industry.
As far as looks go, Blacked tends to get (in my mind) the sexiest girls in the industry and she manages to fit in.

Dude needed a break, this was basically his own personal site for half the year.
Hopefully Jason Luv goes the Jason Brown and Louie Smalls route and starts shooting for other companies so the male talent used is more varied across the board. The problem with BLACKED, though, is that they go 0 to 100 with any male talent they feature. So they will use Jason Brown, Louie Smalls, Jason Luv, etc in every other scene for a year, but then they stop using them entirely and use someone else just as much in their place (looks like it's going to be Jax from now on). There's no middle ground or moderation for them, so burnout will always occur.

They also have a tough time getting male talent cast as well - we'll see how Sly pans out but given he's batting .500 after two appearances and his Twitter feed is a garbage fire I see the makings of Julio 2.0

Of course, Jade Kush on Blacked would be fuckin' awesome. However, it's obvious that the studio has damn near zero interest in featuring Asian women on this particular site. I type in "asian" on the site's search engine right now and only four results come up: Jade Luv, Eva Lovia, London Keyes and Marica Hase. Requesting Asian pornstars for Blacked is a waste of time.
^Sadly, that's true. Less that one Asian woman per year is not very good. Not even Kendra Spade, who seems to do more BBC scenes than just about anyone, has not appeared on the site yet (though she does have one scene on BlackedRaw). August Taylor also regularly did BBC scenes, especially in 2018, and it seems like they never looked her way.
I think you're right that they just have no interest in casting Asian women. There's not much interest given to Latinas either, other than Alina Lopez and the occasional Vicki Chase appearance.
IMO the female talent on Blacked (especially blackedraw) has gone down hill lately. Although the scenes are enjoyable, the girls lately have just not been that hot. Yes there are real hot girls that come in spurts, but then you'll get 3-4 average scenes in a row. If you compare the girls that go on vixen, tushy, and deeper EVERY single scene, you'll see what I mean.

I have to completely agree. Both sites lack consistency compared to the others and they recycle a lot of big names in IR porn. A lot of the debuts aren't up my alley either.
Yes. The same names are recycled over and over again. I'm done seeing Adriana Chechik. It feels like Blacked is getting seconds / washed up talent (I don't want to be rude I just call it like I see it).
Would really like the talent they are using on Vixen to pop over to Blacked.

There are plenty of girls out there still. Even amateur girls that would accept a nice Blacked check. It can't be hard to get hot talent. Even if it's new. Better than recycled talent every time.
Just so you know what I personally consider top tier; Jill Kassidy, Kyler Quinn, Emily Willis, Little Caprice, Bunny Colby, Eliza Ibarra, etc...
I understand other people also have different thoughts on what is top tier.

I think what made Kendra's Obsession work so well is that progression...it built from her being somewhat innocent in the first scene to basically saying "fuck you, I'll do what I want" to her boyfriend in the last scene when she had the threesome with the two guys. That made the whole thing so much hotter than it otherwise would have been.
I think the problem is that when it comes to multiple penetrations, Adriana Chechik is one of the greatest of all-time and it is easily her signature. She's been owning the DP/DA/DV niche since 2014, and is still at the forefront of that stuff 5 years later. I feel like when studios do cast her, they want to take advantage of that.

Lexi Dona is pretty damn hot, I had no clue who she was before I saw the trailer. Along with her looks, the other thing I noticed about her in the trailer is that she seems to be quite a screamer. LOL
I believe that I have an open mind to a lot of things, but cuckold is definitely not one of them. However, when it comes to porn, I am a very big fan of skipping through parts, so that aspect of this upcoming scene won't be a problem.

First time on this forum and I know it's old now but that Kali roses gangbang was one of the hottest scenes I've ever seen! Aside from watching petta Jenson take on two guys this is the best scene on the site imo. Camera angles lighting and everything else was spot on especially the camera angles.
