Blacked, I also went back to the Dani Daniels Deeper trailer to Compare with this one. I noticed that Deeper was more of a true gonzo style film, while Obsession is centered around a storyline with Carter playing a girl named "Kate". I just wanted to know if there will be any Q&A interview in this one like in Deeper? Maybe for the DVD? @PornDynasty

^^ To be fair, it looks like they shot this months ago, and have waited a long time (a longer than normal time, as it were) to release it. So she had probably only shot 4 or 5 of those gangbangs before shooting these scenes.

She said on her thread that she shot this 6 month ago so it was around December of 2014.
At the time of her shooting of the Blacked showcase in late 2014, Carter had only shot 1 gangbang and 4 or 5 DPs. Of the DPs, one was also DPP. No Double Anal released ever for Carter. The unreleased gang bangs may have DA or DPP. i thought she was out of porn but i just saw she dropped a new Naughty America scene which looks fantastic. She would be on the top of my Blacked wishlist then, although i don't think she has shot any IR yet.
Having second thoughts about this one now myself. The format is a lot different from Dani Daniels showcase. Has a storyline and she's playing the "good girl" who cheats on her white boyfriend with several black dudes. Uh .... leaning more in the "NO" direction. Also taking into account that it being distributed by JJV will mean a higher price definitely.
I think Jules Jordan is the packager for the DVD. I would think it would be similar prices to their previous releases. If you go to the adultdvdempire store, the retail cost for Blacked DVDs is $26.99. Addition: I just checked AVN. Blacked entered a distribution deal with Jules Jordan in July 2014. ^ All Blacked DVDs have been released thru JJV thus far, same as the Kink DVDs in the U.S. To my knowledge it is only the distribution part (same as girlfriend films does for ArchAngel and recent (non evil-angel) James Deen stuff. So I don't know how much that plays into the price of the product. All I know that I usually can get JJV DVDs here in Europe from 15-25 euros, and blacked DVDs (just did a quick search) start at around 10 euros and go up to 15-20 euros (it really depends on the mechant), while I seldom see JJV DVDs for less than 15 euros.
Would be awesome to see Cadence Lux and Amarna Miller team up for a BGG (both have bushes, sensuality, and good performance). Going back to the interview idea, it would be interesting to have a performer seated nude or standing up and talk about whatever they feel comfortable discussing with the producer/interviewer. Perhaps an interview after the scene where the performer discusses the experience? Just an idea.
Just picture Lacey or another performer being interviewed like that. Amazing

Can't really judge til I see the actual scenes, but the scenes look pretty bland from viewing the trailer. Nothing original and nothing spectacular. If this is the best that Blacked can do they are doomed to fail. Please take my advice Blacked, do feature with Bonnie Rotten, you can even use the same exact format you used for the Carter Cruise scenes, a one on one scene, a couple M/M/F scenes and a F/F/M scene and use Kleio Valentine as the second female, and I promise it will be the biggest hit you ever have. Do whatever it takes to get Bonnie Rotten and I will say you achieved something. Bonnie has already said she is gonna do interracial so get her before someone else does. I know there is lots of excitement and discord in this thread about the showcase, but I just want to mention that Skye West had her scene drop today and unfortunately for her is being completely overlooked because of the showcase. I mentioned in another forum that this is a complete disservice to Skye as there seems to be no buzz about her scene from anyone. I watched it a little while ago and enjoyed it, kudos to Skye on her scene. Blacked I have been a member since the beginning and truly appreciate your site. You do a great job with casting and I hope that lovely ladies like Bianca Breeze, Aria Alexander, Dava Foxx, Jay Taylor, Kendra Khaleesi, and Kate England will someday grace the site.

The next scene on Blacked alwaays makes people stop talking about the last scene. When the next pixelated scene shows up in a couple days people will talk about it and make their guesses and mostly stop talking about the Carter Cruise scene. Glad to see that Blacked did not pixelate the Carter Cruise scene. As I said a couple months ago on this thread "the Carter Cruise scene(s) are not pixelworthy", cause its not like we didn't already know.

I do not believe that, cause they can't give every "major star" a feature dvd. Also I think all pornstars are on the same level of stardom. Being a "major star" in porn is subjective. There are pornstars you may not even know that are other peoples favorite star. She is a well known pornstar, but calling Carter Cruise "major star" is a stretch. There are at the most four or five "major stars" in the history of porn. Jenna, Ron Jeremy (for all the wrong reasons), John Holmes, Traci Lords (again, for all the wrong reasons), Linda Lovelace and you would be hard pressed to find another pornstar to put on thier level in terms of being a star. Mention Jenna, John Holems or Ron Jeremy and people know them even if they don't watch porn, but mention Carter Cruise and most people would be like "Who?". Nobody is writing songs about Carter Cruise like they did Linda Lovelace. John Homes has been dead for almost 30 years and there is not one male or female talent that has been on his level since. John Holmes had a story besides doing porn that made him very famous outside of porn, but most others are just porn actors and actresses. Carter Cruise isn't a major star she is just a pornstar.
Major Star? well not really. Yes she has won a avn award or whatever but major star, no. Dani Daniels was a major star, and made a pretty huge splash when she did her showcase. Carters been the industry, what 2 years? and has under 70k followers on twitter. Thats not really sign of a huge fan base. And thats for a girl that does just about everything on film. I personally dont watch her scenes, and the ones i do are because there is another girl with her. Im gonna go with alot of other ppl on this forum and pass on this one. But congrats for the ppl that are fans of her.

I have seen her say it in scenes. She said it in a couple scenes she did with Mike Adriano when she was being interviewed at the beginning of the scenes where he always interviews the girls. She clearly states that interracial is one of the things she wants to do on her list. The one scene she says she has a few things left to do and one of them was interracial, then in another scene she says she had did a couple things that were on her list since the last time she shot with Mike like double anal, but still listed interracial as one of the things on her list to do. Bonnie Rottens scenes are no more wild, nasty or crazy as Carter Cruise'e scenes. Just because she squirts does not make her scenes nasty or crazy. If you want to be technical Carter Cruiise has done wilder nastier and crazier things in her scenes than Bonnie Rotten has, especially in the past 6 or eight months Carter has did some wild shit in her scenes.

^^^I've seen all of Bonnie's scenes with Mike (I love their work together), but I'd honestly be shocked if she ever shot IR. She's directed movies and even an IR scene. She's been perfectly capable of shooting her first IR her way on her own terms for a long time now, so I don't see what reason she's had to wait unless shooting IR isn't an intention of her's. I'd be happy to be wrong though. I think that Bonnie would agree that her scenes are nasty and crazy. Personally I like that her scenes are that way. Why would she want to dial it down for Blacked? As I said, she can shoot her first IR in her own movie exactly the way that she personally wants. I don't see why she would want to shoot a softer scene when that's never been the sort of porn she's gravitated toward. Carter Cruise is a separate issue. Well BLACKED sit on the DVD for 6 months at least, non her fault and a poor marketing choice on Blacked part as she's been showcased twice before them What's good though it's that the movie is featured with her playing a role and linking the scenes together plus adding the possibility to put her fictional character in more scenes in the future Anyway it looks like they had to issue this now because their usual 6 months exclusivity was coming to an end so they feared Carter would shoot a bunch of IR scenes for others BTW being Riley Reid in there this is a must to me

Just when you start questioning whether Blacked may be running out of steam they come up with a great newbie scene (Skye West) followed by a Carter Cruise showcase that looks off the scale ... this is still the premier gonzo site on the web in my eyes and you can just see the quality in everything they release (even though it may not suit everybody). Hopefully the other sites will up their game but I highly doubt it ...

Unlike some others here, I greatly appreciate this news! (I'm kinda bummed out that the release of the whole thing is gonna be dragged out for a couple months, but hey, it's all good.)
^ Dragging it out doesn't sound promising to me. The Dani Daniels showcase came out and the second it was released I bought it. Not one scene was a disappointment for me on that one! I'm not going to get this Carter Cruise DVD unless I see a scene or two that absolutely blows the doors off. I am still waiting for them to release the Angela White scene and a few others on DVD so I'm not losing interest anytime soon.

^^ WOW, There are some many mixed reaction from the Carter Cruise showcase, some positive, some negative. Lot of people on here are pissed off at her because she did all those thing before doing IR, and her blog on IR in a negative way. Like I said if you don't like it then don't watch it. Now what if Blacked.com got an showcase with Alexis Texas will you boycott them? When Dani Daniels movie was announce last year a lot of positive reaction was going on, with the Carter Cruise it's different. She is reading this I'm sure she will post on this thread soon but we should all aspect it now. For me I'm going to watched these scenes, and going to get the DVD when it comes out. I wonder why they used a different approach for the release of the Carter feature compared to the one for Dani. With the latter, the dvd was released first and then the scenes were added to the site progressively. With this one, it is the other way around. It could be because of the leak, or the backlash blacked got from some fans when they prematurely found out it was going to be Carter cruise. It could even be due to the fact that so much of her stuff (and very extreme ones) came out after they shot the feature. Maybe I am just reading too much into something trivial.
