I agree. Cuz I simply don't enjoy porn if the guy is less equipped than myself. It's practically unusable. And I'm not even that big, but the majority of porn is an automatic pass for me. With that said, if I did have a complain regarding the depictions of black male talent on Blacked, it is that they don't seem as in control as I would like. I seldom get the sense the guy is really taking charge. But this is not a fault of the male talent. This seems to be baked into the scripted format of the site. Lansky ought to experiment more by incorporating more hand-cam style, floating shots. I've said it from the first year, that I believe the best is a blend of narrative and gonzo. It seems no one can fully manifest this yet. It's always one or the other. But it is not hard for me to envision a scene that is a more balanced mix.
Production wise, yes. But not a big fan of their overall quality. Regardless, Blacked really needs to expand right now or it will get run over no matter how many "1sts" or "exclusives" that they snag. More women of ethnicity on Blacked already! And yes Lansky had a number of women who fit in the "teen" category when he first began. How hard would it be to continue on that branch off into a separate teen genre too. Seeing Anya Olsen in a PunishedTeens scene made me wonder why the deuce she couldn't have had something like that on Blacked.

^I'm not a fan of Ryan, but he's clearly doing what he wants in front of the camera, the production quality is strong, there's the occasional gonzo scene, Ryan works with a diverse talent pool.... If someone with similar sensibilities were to create an IR site I would be the first one to sign up.
^^ Lansky has experimented with the "punishment" subgenre on BLACKED. Although not precise and still quite a bit softer I would say, Lyra Law and Lily Rader's first scenes titled "Beautiful Girl Punished by BBC" and "Blonde Teen Punished and Dominated by Black Man," respectively, fit the bill. Definitely among my favorite scenes on the whole site if not for any other reason that they are so unique and different compared the others in terms of Lansky being more risque with regard to exploring coercion and reluctance themes. I had evidently been sleeping on that network as it's mostly vanilla, but I just revisited them and the technical presentation is superb. At least the previews are edited terrifically anyway.
^ Yes. Technically and trailer wise they're impressive. But I was tricked into buying one movie after lots of disappointment and I was tricked again. I think it was the threesome with Kelsi Monroe. I was blown away on how it was edited, of course they didn't skimp on clothing and outfits for everyone, the location was great. But severely turned off by how tragic the finished project looked. Kelly was "happy" and giddy throughout and Ryan is not a good performer on any level. All the bells and whistles, and technical crap you want to throw at it, do so. There's no substitute for the right pairing AND good chemistry.

I totally disagree. Personally, one of the things I appreciate about Blacked/Tushy/Vixen scenes is that the camera is stationary, they never resort to those "floating shots", where the camera is constantly moving around, that every gonzo director employs.
^^^^ out of the few selected scenes I have watched, Adriana Chechik's first or second scene was the roughest. I believe it involved a robbery or some form of blackmail that led to her male partner stripping her down and taking her as he pleased If we're gonna play up the stereotypes, I'd like to see more of the male being a dominant figure and having his way with the female, just a step or two under the Japanese sub-genre that specializes in this dynamic
it was a friend of her boyfriends that caught her in her panties and started making moves on her that she claimed she didn't want but clearly was vibing on, you could say there was a bit of a rapey vibe to the scene but still pretty tame in that department if that's what you were looking for. I really enjoyed that scene personally and Adriana and Flash clearly brought a lot to that dynamic, a lot of passion between the two of them. I feel like seeing an interesting new scenario and having the talent to really bring it to life was fairly commonplace in the site's first 2 years, funny how it's now the exception and not the rule. Performers seem to like Ryan but he doesn't appeal to me. In any case, I think that an IR site of the same style could really fill a void in the genre. Hell, since Porn Fidelity now features an occasional IR scene, maybe the Madisons themselves can create an IR site, a spin-off. Interracial Fidelity maybe?
For the love of all that's holy this scene had Adriana Chechik in it and it was the weakest thing I've ever seen. You don't put a woman who has done some of the sluttiest work since Annette Schwartz in a scene this tame. He could've gotten more of an unknown to do this scene. It's almost as if she was told in about 20 takes to "tone it down". Either that or she is a hell of an actress.
I completely agree with you about your last point. BLACKED even in the beginning barely played up the race aspect as it was, but at least there was a little. Now, it's completely non-existent. Not an improvement, IMO, especially when with the emergence of BLACKED, race-play in general took a nosedive across the board, with the meager amounts of hard race-play that was available in mainstream porn (Dogfart primarily) deteriorating along with it.

Speaking for myself, I am very happy that Blacked and other sites have toned down or, better yet, eliminated the derogatory elements of their IR scenes (the N-bombs and thug/rapper stereotypes). I wouldn't put up with it in my personal life, so I'm not interested in seeing it in my porn. On a more positive note, Eva Lovia looks amazing getting DP'd (on Tushy, not Blacked, I know) and getting some Black dick too. She will be missed.

Agreed. I get that the 'IR genre' is inextricably linked with "biggest", but I'd prefer that all the major sites that exclusively feature black male actors put performance capabilities, chemistry/comfort between scene partners and objectively(well close to it) good looks way above just monster size in and of itself.
PornFidelity already feels like a spin-off site with other male talents instead of Ryan since he doesn't appear on the site anymore. IR PornFidelity with a male talent as solid as Ryan both performing and directing would make sense but their latest IR scenes with their go-to black performer Isiah Maxwell Mad Love and Let's Go Private don't seem to be all that different from what other companies are doing.

^Greg, and this is true of every director, will have his own opinions about what constitutes "good looks" (there is no objectively or close to it). I'm sure he also has his own criteria for deciding whether a performer is capable or not, and I expect that he makes personal judgements about whether or not or to what extent performers will have chemistry in the context of a performance. I think a viewer may see a guy with a big dick in a scene, not like him much, and assume that the director doesn't like him much either except for his big dick. In fact, the director may think he's a great looking guy and a wonderful performer, and, additionally, he might appreciate the size of his penis. The viewer doesn't know.

Jax is a stud. IMO he has the best body out of all the male talent I've seen (although admittedly I don't see a large sample as the black male talent pool is pretty limited), but by any measure or standard, he's a super stud and a good performer. He's built like a damn linebacker, but not freakishly roided up or anything. I would say he's in the top 5 as far as go-to talent for 1st IR's. His dick isn't "too big", but it is definitely big by the average male standard not tiny, and above average for porn as well. Looks like 8 inches, with average girth. Long with average girth just makes it seem thinner, but it's not skinny. If his dick was 6 inches with the same length:girth ratio, then yeah, it would be below average. But He's a really big guy to at 6'4" so by frame of reference, it may make his dick seem smaller, but it is definitely above average size for porn. I would speculate that with the average worldwide penis size being 5.5-6, in porn the average is about 6.5-7. Rob Piper is very popular with ladies because of his looks, and he has a great built too. His stature is a little smaller than Jax, but his dick is bigger. His dick is definitely far from tiny. It's probably close to eight and a half inches.
The other thing I like about Jax is that apparently if he is given the green light, he engages in dirty talk with the female performer. Better than Rico but not over the top like Wesley Pipes or Prince That's one aspect of the black performers in general I wish would improve, learn how to verbally enhance the scene. As far as new guys, I think Rob is first right now, then Flash or Isaiah. Hopefully Jax(and others)get up there too
