The upcoming scene looks really good. Evelyn Claire is fucking beautiful. If it weren't for the tattoos she'd be truly amazing. The new directing style looks interesting. We'll see how it works out when the scene drops.

Nah, that's too radical for Blacked and as for the Kayden Kross experiment, this didnt end well for Bonnie Rotten when she tried this at Elegant Angel. As long as Manuel keeps her on a leash, I'm not gonna watch her scenes(once I find out which ones she directs), especially when Manuel is out here practically trying to stuff triplets in Angela White every time they shoot together: I hate this double standard so much(see: Danny Mountain and Mia Malkova)
BLACKED showcase releases (based on when the first scene appeared on the site): Dani Daniels Deeper - September 15, 2014. Carter Cruise Obsession - June 10, 2015. Kendra's Obsession - November 21, 2016. Now bear in mind that with the Dani Daniels showcase, they released the scenes within days from each other on the site, so the DVD being released in September makes sense. Just posting up the DVD release dates is a bit disingenuous since the scenes usually release on the site first before appearing in DVD's. So the fact that we haven't seen any showcase scenes appear on the site or have even heard an announcement of an upcoming showcase means that the DVD release of such showcase would be even farther off. Not only that, but just look at TUSHY which had two showcases in the span of a year with Eva and Lana. Apparently Eva Lovia's first anals warranted a showcase, but not her first IR. ^ Dude, there will be another showcase eventually, they just have to wait for the right girl to come along. As I said earlier, their next showcase star might not even be in porn yet! I watched the Athena Palomino scene yesterday and, ya know, I have to admit that I found it rather unspectacular. From the blowjobs to the sex, there wasn't anything about it that wow-ed me; it would've been nice, for me at least, if they threw in some reverse cowgirl action, but they didn't. It would've also been nice if there were some full nude shots of her in the photo gallery. And while I find Athena to be hot, in terms of just sheer looks, I gotta admit that she just doesn't wow me the way Kendra Sunderland did, for example, when she first hit the porn scene. ^Interesting. Kendra does nothing for me. She's attractive, yes, but her performances in the gazillion Blacked scenes haven't improved in IMHO. By contrast, I see a lot more potential in Athena even after just one scene. Time will tell, I guess. Athena will have MANY more scenes, I'm sure.
^^ You nor I know for a fact that BLACKED is doing another showcase. Again, I already went over why the "right girl" reasoning doesn't make sense. If Eva Lovia is the "right girl" for a TUSHY showcase and not a BLACKED one then clearly that's not the reason why there hasn't been one. Same with Mia Malkova, Nicole Aniston and Natalia Starr. Unless you think they are going to shoot an Alexis Texas or Rachel Starr BLACKED showcase or that another "Library Girl" is going to masturbate in public again and then enter porn to shoot for Lansky. I didn't even mention Lana who shot IR very early in her career, but became one of, if not, the most popular girls in the industry and received a TUSHY showcase as well. I think it's telling how BLACKED has been featuring her a lot on it's sites as well as some of the other more popular girls, but haven't given them a showcase. Look, I'm not saying it's necessarily bad that they are no longer doing showcases. I simply think that BLACKED is trying a different model for featuring extremely popular girls that doesn't involve giving them a showcase, but rather shooting them in a lot of various scenes anyway. That must mean they have decided they will NEVER make another showcase!"In regards to Kendra's performances, I agree that she could've been better and that there was a sense of "sameness" I felt with every Blacked and Vixen scene she put out. However, she's always been a stunner to me-I love her pretty face, those big boobs combined with her slim figure and even those tattoos and piercings she has. So while I might not put her near the top of my personal "favorite pornstars" list, I would say she's one of the hottest pornstars to me.
The Evelyn scene looks pretty good. First I liked her, then I wasn't feeling her that much but now she's really starting to grow on me again . She does look great in this one and the promo pics they have out. As far as Kayden Kross, I've liked a lot of her other work so I'm interested to see what she does over here. This looks like a good start.

^^ Agree on the tattoos. Evelyn's skin is top tier (especially for IR), but covered some of it with random tattoos. Kendra Sunderland is another that comes to mind. I wish they still airbrushed the tattoos out of at least the photosets like they used to. That was at least a nice compromise since they stopped covering them with make-up or clothing during the actual scenes for those of us that aren't fans of ink.

-1 I've said it once and I'll say it again...I'm so glad they've done away with their tattoo cover up tricks, especially for the photo galleries. As for Kayden Kross...looks like she could be a good director. The one thing I notice in the trailer for the upcoming scene is that there seems to be more shots with the camera moving. As for Kayden Kross-The Pornstar, though, I gotta admit I was never interested in her at all.
^ Yes, yes. It's all well and good that you got exactly what you wanted to a tee, but it was just nice that at least one studio typically catered to non-ink fans. Looks like we're back to 100% saturation, though, so hopefully a new up-and-coming studio is paying attention and takes advantage of what I imagine isn't a small niche.

^ The change in approach to tattoos is the clearest sign so far that they've abandoned the original template that elevated them above other studios. Obviously the fans of tattoos and those who don't mind them won't care, but it's not them who are losing out. For those who dislike tattoos and preferred to see a rare unblemished version of these pornstars once in a while, the tattoo covering was a genuine selling point. It affects the aesthetic appeal of the scenes for me and certainly undermines the set-up when the female performer is supposed to be playing an innocent girl next door or such like. They haven't covered all tattoos all the time. I don't think it's always possible and some of these chicks' tatts are small and stylish enough for it not to be a big deal. But if they stop regularly covering the large, garish and truly unattractive ones then it just indicates an increased indifference towards the visual aesthetics of their product, which pushes them closer to the status quo of other studios. Obviously, this doesn't suddenly mean they're on Dogfart's level. But you've got to wonder what the next compromise will be. I've said previously that I believe they've already made compromises on their casting choices and the variety of content they produce. What next, I wonder? ^^ I generally don't like tattoos, but the tattoo coverup tricks were bad. Either don't try to cover them up, or just don't hire girls with a lot of ink. Tattooed girls can still get shot for the Raw site. It seems he doesn't care either way now though, and I can certainly tolerate it when the babe is fine.

^3 To be fair to KK, she was a contract (Vivid and Digital Playground) girl at her peak. Those companies weren't known for shooting IR. She now wants to concentrate on directing and filming the occasional g/g or b/g scene with her partner MF. You can't blame her for not wanting to take random penises anymore.
Vivid literally has a long running (as in 10+ years) series centered on their contract girls doing interracial. Stoya was able to film her first interracial scene while under Digital Playground at the same time as Kayden. She did a movie while she was under contract with Adam and Eve where she played Tiger Woods' wife, but didn't actually have sex with the actor playing Tiger. If she wanted to do it, she could have done it. I don't hold it against her the way a lot of other people do, but I don't buy that she was unable to do it in the time before she was committed to Manuel.
It's tagged exclusive and it looks like another scene in the "Mr. M" series. Kira finally fucks Mandingo and the fair skinned redhead looks it could be Katy Kiss(I don't think Katy has any scenes released outside of Blacked so she would still be exclusive).

Well it looks like ol' Dingo is in this scene too. Looking through the readheads who've appeared on Blacked that'd still receive the exclusive tag.. I can't find any Kimberly Brix scenes outside of Blacked, so she could be tagged as exclusive, but her scene with Dredd didn't have the exclusive tag. Lennox Luxe would definitely still be exclusive, but the body type doesn't match. Not sure Dolly Leigh is even active anymore, same with Farrah Flower and Gwen Stark. And Shona River, Amarna Miller, Anny Aurora, Trillium, Ember Stone and Katy Kiss have had scenes released outside of Blacked.
^Shona River is European(Hungary) and the location of her scene looks to be the same as this scene. I'm guessing that's ISS's reasoning.

I know she's done IR before, but I figured if she agreed only to shoot IR for Blacked while in the U.S. then they might still use the exclusive tag. They labelled Athena Palomino's scene Exclusive even though she's done IR before, because they tied her down to a contract. As I said, it's a stab in the dark, but it's possible.
Again, they did not shoot in Europe. Shona River has been in the US since before AVN and is bookable by LA Direct (a US agency) right now. [Tweet is no longer available]
