^ Why don't you make your feelings known in the comments section on Blacked's site? You always make these posts in this thread as if there's actually someone from Blacked paying attention to this thread. There isn't.

I think the factors of why certain girls are booked and some are not is a combination of popularity and I think which agency they are in plays a big role. It seems at the moment motley models gets a lot of their girls on vixen sites. Dani Jensen is apart of LA Direct they seem to not get as many of their girls. I didnt run the math it just seems like a lower percentage of their girls are on vixen sites.
While I may not agree on your opinion on Euro scenes, I do agree that the Kendra scene with Joss was very good. For my taste however, the more I watch Kendra the more frustrated I get that she is not getting pounded hard in the ass. That Blacked scene with Joss on vacation could have been epic had it involved a rough anal pounding...just saying though that Euro chicks seem to have anal in the repertoire much more often...

Agree to 100 percent what you say about Euro scenes (although I'm European). Euro porn was at it's top with girls like Jane Darling, Claudia Rossi, Michelle Wild, Dora Venter, to call a few. But this is 15 or 20 years ago, the older of us will remember ... But it's got worse at the latest after 2007/2008. What came was an army of East-European girls, without brands, without names and a lot of boring porn scenes. I don't call everything good about American porn, but seeing girls like Emily Willis, Gianna Dior, Alina Lopez, Aidra Fox, Jillian Janson (to list a few), there's by far nothing comparable in European porn. They have names, they are brands and they have big personalities. And they like what they're doing. European porn on the other hand tends to the "extremes". With soft stuff like met-art, whiteboxxx etc. but also with stuff eg on legalporno, where 10 bulls jump on a tiny girl. Both is unwatchable for me.

There is certainly a more pronounced need for self-expression in the U.S. than perhaps in Eastern Europe. Social media is a huge help there. Whether this speaks for a big personality - remains to be seen. At the end of the day, they' re businesswomen who tell their customers what they want to hear.I would say that it is the market that sets the direction and not the nationality of the girls. If there were many LP-like studios in the US, a Vixen-like porn industry could have developed in Europe as well. Like in the 90s/00s, where there were many cheap gonzo studios in the US and in Europe as a counterpart rather glamorous porn like Marc Dorcel and partly Private.
And whether the US girls all like what to do - diverse meltdowns and mug shots tell a different story.

Wow it's really interesting to go to Hime Marie's profile to compare her upcoming scene with her previous one. She almost looks like it completely different person. And it's really nice to see Jax back on the website after 10 months away away
^^ Right what you say. But I didn't talk about the reasons or the possibilities that everything can be different. I'm talking about what I see yet as a customer.
I don't want to glorify the US porn industry, for sure there are some exceptions where the things didn't go well ("mugshots"). But to break it down to a simple denominator, when I look through my "list" of around 20 pornstars I like, 19 are American or at least working in the US. There must be a reason. From the mid of the '90s until the mid of the '00s (approximately) I was a big fan of European made porn featured by the stars I mentioned. At this time US porn was an absolute No-Go for me. I had a lot prejudices, depending on too much fakes, silicone, wrong glamour etc. This has changed completely into the opposite over the years. I always follow the girls I like, never a special sexual fetish. And in this respect I feel much better in America than in Europe.

We have a similar view on many points. I also liked the era around Angel Dark, Jane Darling or Rita Faltoyano and can't do anything with Euro Porn at the moment (I can't with US Porn either). But for me, it's really more the circumstances than the girls.
The upcoming Hime Marie looks good and the type of scene I would like them to do. It has a hot girl, the story is simple but seems sexy and Jax is a solid male talent. The director is Laurent Sky and I think they do better than Derek Dozer. My favorite scene of last year was Dana Wolf's scene and that was directed by Laurent Sky too. I also, think who produces has an influence too because Derek Dozer has directed scenes I like but, if it says produced by Mike Moz I found myself not liking the scene. Mike Moz produced scenes seem to have unsexy wardrobe choices imo.
There's a milf that I liked to see do her first interracial debut for Blacked Raw, her name is Rebecca Love. She has been in the business for a long time, her only interracial scene I believed was with Justin Slayer. I hope Rebecca is open to exploring her interracial horizon on both Blacked and Blacked Raw, she is a busty beautiful ladies with great curves, she would be excellent for a one on one showcase on this site. It was a very well directed scene, but Hime just doesn't do much for me. Seems they always put out a good looking scene with women I don't prefer, then make a bad scene with women I like. Laurent is a much better director than the poor Dozer/Moz team.
when I see the ocean in the background of the teaser, I won't even watch, as these European scenes are a rehash of the same boring scenes over and over the storyline on blacked have gone from solid 8s at the beginning to virtually scores of zero ...

Both Julia grandi and kayden kross are bad directors. They don't understand their customers (mostly men).
^ You mean they don't understand YOU, right? Because I am a man and I find Kayden to be a good director, mostly because she actually directs. Putting two people in a room and telling them to fuck is not directing.

^ watching Kayden's scenes is like driving with the sun in your face. Look closely and you'll understand what I mean. It's consistent across her scenes. I don't intent to get blinded while watching porn. Smh
I think Kayden is all right. Sometimes her stuff really hits for me like I enjoyed the Evelyn Claire scene she directed. While other times there is a disconnect and I think that is where her filming with a woman's perspective doesnt connect with me. Examples would be the Riley Steele video. The story is too long and the video was too dark.The worst story I have scene in a porn video was the first scene she directed for Abigail Mac's Tushy showcase. The story is painfully long and downright unsexy. For some a story can enhance the enjoyment so I wouldn't totally dismiss her work but for me when I click a video I want to start right away. I want to see overt sexual stuff. I think the best mixture of story and visuals done on the site is Skye Blue's scene. The story bit is delivered by a voice over and Skye getting dressed and then her then getting oiled up in front of Jason.
To don't understand the customers it does not mean that you are a bad director. A good director is someone who knows how to place the camera, how to make the actors move, how to light a scene. If you always follow the customers taste you will never make anything great, in porn and not.

Riley Steele's scene wasn't too dark, it was too bright because the sun was glaring into the camera lens most of the time. Kayden does this "bright light glaring into the lens" thing all the time and she really needs to stop it. Other than that, the scene was great. Some of her stories are good, others not so much.
One studio actually had a series of this some years ago. Just tell the couple to do what comes natural. It can give some pretty good results because you don't necessarily have certain ridiculous "made for porn" acts in the scene. Sex doesn't need to be directed.

Sorry but instead of intellectualize just watch the fact : Lansky answered the more to men customer needs ,he was a best a director than cross,people less complained with him than her. She doesnt please customers as he did (the only way for her to please us,men, would be to get fucked again and shoot scenes 😋) cross makes only good job on deeper. Nothing more nothing less.
Some people here has been bitching against Kayden Kross since her very beginning as a director , the sun is just an excuse to attack her , her first scene was in a kitchen in the middle of the night , no sun out there, and, that time many (the same guys?) blamed her plot and the fact that someone who never performed IR know nothing about it and should not direct on Blacked, which I believe is the actual reason for trashing down her scenes all the time whatever she does , I do remember her "boring" scene with Jesse Jane (in shower and a bedroom no sun involved) , again the reality of the scene had nothing to do with that , the actor was Jason luv which despite being liked a lot by the actresses wasn't deemed as "black" by many , plus there's the usual ones who want to punish those performers who didn'd do IR when they thought it was fit and , of course, because it was directed by Kayden Kross

Lighting isn't Kross' only issue. Her scenarios are often ridiculous. She always shoots her scenes as if they were an art project. The lens flares are annoying even if they're not in every scene, and she always has the models TRY to act as if they were in a Cannes' Festival flick even though they can't and the result is laughable in the end.

It's ok to like Kayden's work but you'd be blind to not see the issue about lighting which many are discussing. It is so obvious! I could literally pull screenshots from any of the past 10 scenes to prove this point.
