When I block sender, it seems I get more E mails the next day. Am I paranoid or when I block an e mail no one knows about it but me.

Ignore all E Mail works well enough for me.
Honestly. If you don't wanna deal with a bunch of junk mail, set up a brand new Gmail account and only give the address to people you want to hear from and don't use it to sign up for shit online. They will almost always send you junk even if you click the box that says "Don't send me junk". I never get mail on my Gmail account unless it's from someone I want to hear from. I have other emails I use for signing up for stuff online and I never check them unless I need a password or something. They can spam me all day long and they're just wasting their time.

Legit companies will actually take you off their list. Others simply use a response (even a negative one) as a verification that your email is real, and you end up on more lists.
I agree with RP. There's not a lot you can do. Unfortunately it's much easier and cheaper to send than it is to stop it. As long as that's the case, we're always going to be deluged.
