If you don't wanna deal with a bunch of junk mail, set up a brand new Gmail account and only give the address to people you want to hear from and don't use it to sign up for shit online. They will almost always send you junk even if you click the box that says "Don't send me junk". I never get mail on my Gmail account unless it's from someone I want to hear from. I have other emails I use for signing up for stuff online and I never check them unless I need a password or something. They can spam me all day long and they're just wasting their time.
