John Strong has been one of the most uninspired,by the book directors around in my opinion.I used to avoid his product mainly because he never wavered from the industry standard one and a quarter angle when shooting dp's.That's not to say he hasn't done some good stuff,I think he was responsible for Anabolic's A2M which has one of my favorite Alura Eden scenes.

As I mentioned previously I think he just about nailed it with Sasha Grey's scene in Gang Bang.

That being said, Su usually shoots the type of porn I prefer compared to most of Ana/Dia's stable of directors.

As for me, I don't care much for Strong's on-camera performances. He projects almost no personality and doesn't show any rapport with the girls. He strikes me as being purely an athletic, passionless fucking machine.

On the other hand, there are plenty of performer/directors making straight-ahead gonzo who, in my view, do have personality and rapport. Michael Stefano, Mark Wood, and Steve Holmes come immediately to mind.

Pretty much everything that can be done in porn has been done more than a few times. There's not a whole lot of room left for creativity.

What there *is* always room for is to do something that's been done to death better than it's been done before or is usually done. Now I won't say this movie does anything better than it's been done before because I've only seen part of it once. Apparently, the OP saw something in it that he felt was missing in other similar movies.

If you don't like the genre, that's fine and you're perfectly welcome to your opinion but there are people who like it and they have opinions too.

A lot of stuff in porn is just middle of the road and (frankly) bland. I'm usually happy if I can get one good scene in a movie that has four or five. And oddly, there always does seem to be at least one decent scene in every movie. I suspect this is one of the reasons why people have stacks and stacks of porn. A lot of the movies, they could probably do without except for that one scene that makes it impossible for them to part with it. Otherwise, they could just run out and buy a few movies that have everything the want and they'd be happy for a while.

I've seen plenty of anal with gaping and cumshots at the end. Rarely do I see it done exactly the way I like it with girls that I find extremely appealing. There's always that one little nagging detail that spoils the whole scene or movie and makes me look for something better. Sometimes, I find it but there's another nagging little detail that ruins it.

And thus it goes. The endless search for perfection. That's pretty much the answer to your questions, I hope.

(EDIT) I would also add that a lot of people like seeing new girls, even if they love the older girls. There's just something about seeing that new girl you just discovered last week taking it in the ass. Sure, it's still the same in a lot of ways but it helps keep it feeling fresh. Ideally, there'd be flicks with older talent and a couple of new girls sprinkled in for variety. There's always that one new girl who does something right and "there's just something about her".

A good lineup + a good theme + good technical quality = good movie.

I guess BMA could be called cookie cutter in those repects but to me the strong lineup is what puts it over the top. Too many porn flicks have one or two girls that I would be interested in watching then 4 or 5 others that don't do anything for me. I like to call those ones, "rentals". I purchased BMA at my local video store brand new for under thirty bucks and to me it was worth the money.

But I can see where someone else might find it formulaic. Kinda the way I feel about most anime. But throngs of people love it.

As for Bree's scene, I am really already hooked on her even though this is only the second scene I've watched of hers. I think she is naturally gorgeous. I love her voice. She has this way at times of giving these little smiles while she is getting ass fucked that really appeals to me. It's something, I believe, she may not even be aware of. See...this is just the result of a warped society and culture. It has nothing to do with porn or it's fans. People in this culture were calling women whores (or some antiquated equivalent) long before porn existed.
