For a good number of years Brazzers offered its 1080p scenes with a lossless bitrate of 12000 kBit/s.
Starting on 5th of february 2018, new scenes are presented with a bitrate of just 6000 kBit/s, which means the bitrate is cut in half and the picture quality suffers seriously.
It also means that I will cancel my Brazzers subsription, which I had maintained for many years without a single interruption.

P.S.: I know there's another thread about problems with downloading older Brazzers scenes. But this is a different subject about a major slap in the face of Brazzers customers, which deserves a new thread.

My god I came on here for the exact same thing and to look to see where the best place would be to post this.
I sent a question to tech support the other day and got this rubbish answer.
Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting us.
The Video quality didn't go down but rather we have improved compression rates when providing downloads. By doing a higher compression, we are able provide faster downloads but keep the same quality at the end product with loseless compression. If you like further information, you can contact feedback@Brazzers.com
So I sent an email to feedback saying.
I'm sorry but halving the bit rate dose lower the video quality and it is not lossless as I said its 2018 6000Kbps is not good enough I do not want faster downloads if anything you should be going to 4K.
Can someone that knows what there talking about please let me know what's going on.
Other sites even offer 3 different options to download 1080P 6000Kbps, 8000Kbps and 12000Kbps.
I like 4K but I kept my Brazzers membership because at least it was good 1080P your 1080P was better than some sites 4K.

Everyone needs to complain to feedback and I think send a question to tech support as well as I think feedback may not actually get to the right people.

Maybe this should move to The Porn Pool as maybe people having technical problems will come here and I want as many of the right people to see this. I'm not sure that's why I was actually looking to start a thread when I came across this one.

I don't think it's the right subforum at all. Nobody will see it down here. I started a similar thread in Porn Pool and it just got shut down.
So I guess we won't have a real discussion of this issue.

I don't see that it's truly a technical issue nor should it be considered as a "beyond porn" subject, which is how the "Tech Talk" forum is categorized here. I mean, it's clearly a "within porn" topic as it's dealing with a major policy shift by the world's most popular porn site.
