^ How many times do you need to be told the term "gay for pay" is offensive to the performers and actual lesbians you claim to champion so much before you stop? Because newsflash, there aren't many 100% gay performers in the industry on any level, whether it be g/g only, female or male b/g performers, or b/b. In the adult industry, you can break things down into any scene is either "gay" or "straight" for pay because if they weren't getting paid, they wouldn't be performing. And as a gay woman, I HATE having my sexuality used a standard like this, especially by men. Porn is a job, not what you come home to.
^To be honest, you're the only one I've ever heard take offense to the term. It simply means a woman who is not attracted to other women at all, which is something actual performers complain about. I don't understand how that is offensive. Of course there only a handful of actual gay female performers, everyone knows that.
I wish Porn was like it was back when I started in 2010 or even in the hay day of the GG era in 2012/2013 when I was contracted I would have stayed GG because I made just as much doing GG back then as I do now doing both. I prefer GG and I'm thankful I still get to shoot it almost if not equal to my BG scenes on a monthly. Most male talent can tell you, if it's a BGG I have trouble focusing on the man because I just love beauty and women are so beautiful to me. A lot of girls don't truly like women in a sexual way in this biz but a cool fact ... some of the TOP BG stars are lesbian in their personal lives. This business is an interesting place :)
WHERE did I say that??? READ what I said before jumping to conclusions. I SAID if GG was what it used to be, not just financially but also the demand for it, as it was back in 2010-13... I WOULD have never done BG. Then I said, I'm thankful I shoot just as much GG as I do BG because I love GG. Basically I was commenting to someone else's post that I still love GG even though I do BG.

My first BG scene for Reality Kings. I was pretty stoked to shoot with them as I have not shot with them since 2011... however, the scene is AMAZING! I am a little disapppinted with the photos... I do feel they could have color corrected and chosen more flattering photos of me from this set. I'm hoping this was just a goof because their photos were always lovely from what I recall. Anyways, if you don't care about the photos ... you'll see that the scene with Jesse and I was really dope!

It's Brett's thread and this already derailed it enough so this will be the last I say about it. Porn is a performance just like any other form of performance entertainment. Do people call Charlize Theron a murderer for pay because she acts in roles where she kills people? Did people call Tom Hanks gay for pay because he played a gay man in Philadelphia? Or Ed Norton a racist for pay in American History X? No, they just are said they're doing their jobs. Sex work is the only line of work where people equate performing in a queer role to legitimate orientation and it's so fucking infuriating. It's like when you said Nikki Hearts' b/g performances were "too comfortable" for her to be gay, which is too horrific for words. Or how Jelena Jensen gets super upset if people call her a lesbian and not bisexual. If a performer is bad at their job, call them on it. But don't equate skill as a performer to orientation, because like Brett said, some of the top b/g performers only date women outside of performing. Anyway, Brett and Cadence's scene is fantastic. I could watch the two of them riff off of each other in scenes for years and never be bored of it. I can't wait to see their scene next week and also Brett's (at least from what the tentative Girlsway schedule says for this month) impending shoot with Angela White ^^
