Bill, this isn't rocket science. I heard she wants to 'redeem' herself to me and will perform with a high degree of sexuality.
I think your analogy of a retarded kid is a retarded one at that.
If I get a good scene out of her, no one will be more pleased than I. After all, in my opinion, the girl is hot with great titties.
However, if I get yet another whining scene out of her and I start playing my part as the director, guess what? I not only can the scene after stretching it to the limit, which costs me next to nothing, but I get great Internet content.
The ball is wholly on Brooke's court. I either get a scene for my movie or I get Internet content. It's up to her after we talked precisely about what she does.
But you know as well as the rest of us that this is what you are going to get. Shit, the girl got fired by Simon Wolf. What chance is there that she will give you the scene that you need for your movie if she couldn't do scenes good enough for Simon Wolf? Absolutely 0%. If you don't believe that, you're just fooling yourself. This shoot is being setup so you can have footage of yourself berating her. Nothing more, nothing less.
You can pretend that you have honorable intentions, but you'd be full of shit.
Bill, I appreciate your insightful analysis of my psychology.
The way I look at it, it's a win-win situation. Either way, I get a scene. Believe it or not, I actually would prefer a video scene only if it's worth it.
Say, at least Chico is giving us a realtime window into what really goes on with the game-playing in Los Angeles.
Why do director's keep hiring Brooke? I bet it's because one of them is thinking he'll get lucky, convince her to do a facial, so he can promote this to hell on a boxcover: BROOKE'S FIRST FACIAL!!!!
This case seems a bit extreme, but I've wondered why does a director book an actress, who is known to only do vaginal sex, and then when she shows up for her scene, he tries to get her to do anal? It's not like he was ill-informed. Even this other thread hints that money was offered to an actress who is clearly not interested in anal sex, to get her to try it (I'm not picking on this director alone, I know there are other ones, this is just one that I could remember because it's so recent).
Even worse is watching a scene, where the camera is already rolling, and right on film, the actress is asked, "Don't you want to try anal?" Sometimes, the actor doesn't even ask, he just goes for it, and if she protests enough, he'll stop. I've seen this stuff in American gonzo films, and in European ones. Of course, there's the varient of "Won't you try a double penetration?"
I know in an ideal world, what the actress has said she does/doesn't do should set the limits, and the director would know upfront what to expect. But, what the hell, you can try anyway, and if you can get an actress to do anal, you've beat out other studios, and you've got your boxcover: Etta Mae's First Anal!!! She shows what an Anal Slut She Really Is!!!
I get the idea that making these porn films is just a big game to a lot of directors, just a way to make some cash. And to think that people look down on porn actresses.....
God, I hope so! Usually women take a certain wicked delight in teasing you with the possibility they just might "crack" one of those eggs or leave some accidental teeth marks -- which only amps up the fun!
I agree Renee that it all gets a bit silly. But you only have to spend 5 minutes on ADT to see all the vociferous threads mandating double anals, 10-man cum slams and nostril penetration. The market drives the menu, I don't think you can complain about directors trying to both satisfy the customer demand for everything under the sun AND try and distinguish themselves even a little bit. I'm sure after a while, the boredom of shooting untried porn talent in yet another "Up the Nostril Half-Asian Party Sluts" compels a few unusual moves -- just to keep things interesting.
I'm not against a director trying to satisfy market demands. But why spring this demand for first time anal sex on an unsuspecting actress in the middle of a scene? If the director knows he has to have anal sex in a scene, and he doesn't want to waste location fees, makeup artist and photographer fees, and so on, then hire an actress that does anal sex.
Honestly, I don't know why some of these directors complain. They knew up front what someone was willing to do, then they try to go beyond that limit, they piss off the actress, the scene turns out crummy, and they blame everyone but themselves. They took a chance, they can live with the consequences.

If you are keeping on subject here, are you equivilating ball sucking to anal? If so I don't see the parallels... And also, why not ask the talent if they want to go further? I mean as long as it's not overly pressuered...
This is an absolute asinine analogy to equate ball licking as part of a blowjob to jamming a cock up some unsuspecting girl's ass during a shoot.
Under NO circumstances is it right to 'force', 'coerce' or hostily manipulate a girl to do anal during a scene. However, there are instances where a girl 'has' to do anal.
Though it's never happened to me, if a girl regularly does anal on video, and I shoot her for an anal scene, the girl will perform anal or the scene is canned. Frankly, I'm not having a vag only scene with a girl who does anal all over the place. Every girl and her agent is briefed on what kind of sex she will perform before the shoot.
However, if a girl simply will not lick a guy's nuts because she doesn't believe it's part of a blowjob, again, in general, I will can the scene cause that only portends problems when the actual penetration starts.
Never should a girl do what she doesn't want to do. Period. That includes fucking for a living.
I was mostly responding more to the "ball-licking" issue and the idea that Chico would hire someone with a certain reputation just to see what happened regardless. I don't think springing a demand for first-time anal on an unsuspecting actress is a very good idea, 'cos it's probably not going to be a happy experience for anyone.
Ramsey you insist that you never watch Red Light movies, yet your inside knowledge is so amazing I have found myself looking under couches, behind potted plants,in kitchen cabinets etc.. To my frustration I have yet to find you on a set.
I'm not equating the two absolutely on the same plane, but it's the attitude behind these requests that I'm referring to. Even you feel it's okay to apply to pressure on an actress when she's already on the set to go further, even though she and her agent were already told what she would be expected to do. It puts her in a position where she could easily be intimidated. Even Chico said in a recent thread that he can get girls to do edgier things by working on their lack of self-esteem, or scaring them, or trying to work up some kind of party mood on the set.
I know some directors have complained here on the forum about actresses saying they will do something, and then balking to do so when they show up for the scene. But I bet actresses have learned to play this game from the some directors, who will book for one thing, and try and get more. It's not like all the directors are paragons of honesty, setting wonderful examples for the actresses, though I imagine that there are those out there who do exist.
I have some opinion on this, because I'll purposely search out movies that are the "Initiations/New Talent" type, and look for ones that have little or no anal sex (or at least promise to), and still I see these pressured requests for anal being made, while I sit on my sofa, in my home, watching a DVD and thinking, "Weren't they supposed to discuss all this before the camera started rolling?"
Usually named calling is not allowed on this site.Nothing constructive can come from it. Why is Ramsey allowed to call people assholes and idiots. Everyone here is able to express thier opinions positive or negative without this type of childish behavior. He must be quite special.
Renee ( the true doyenne of ADT ) , surely there's a difference between asking and pressurising . I don't have a problem with a director taking a girl off to the side and holding a little private conversation offering her extra green for brown . But to ask in front of a large number of people or while filming slips into the bounds of pressurising . You know ... this type of thing ~
On a different note ... I wish camcorders were more expensive .
See Renee, I never know whether Chico is serious with this or if it's just part of his public persona. I remember basketballer Charles Barkley being described by many people as the sort of guy who put forward a persona that he was dislikable and a bit of a prick, but was a lovely guy when you got to know him personally. I mean, Chico cannot be this misogynistic, surely?
I agree that getting girls to do things they aren't prepared to do is bad form, but frankly, I don't think porn directors should be wasting their time with someone like Brooke. Guys should be hunting down someone with the spirit of Belladonna, and leave Brooke to telemarketing or something. Maybe even post office work - you no longer need to lick stamps these days, now they have the sponges. :)
This has been a reasoned thread so far, so I'm going to throw a scenario into the mix:
We know from Lex's website's FAQ that he doesn't do or receive rimming. Now, lets say he's in a scene with a new girl, and they're getting down and dirty, and she comes up behind him and starts tonguing his ass, because she's into it and wants to be nasty. Let's assume she knew beforehand it wasn't Lex's thing.
I have no idea whether Lex tells her to stop, or really how he handles it. Presumably he either stops the scene and says 'why'd you do that?', or gently tries to persuade her away from doing it, or just goes with the flow. Question is - how would we respond if he opted for the former option? Has this happened before, the man saying 'no way' to an act or situation when the girl is game, and then he being pressured into coming to the party? If the man walked off (unlikely or what?), would you hire him again?
I doubt this has ever happened, but I thought I'd throw it up there.
You and everyone else who was making a good living when Betacam was the only game in town, and they started at about $25K. Of course when the Betacamsters first arrived, they were regarded as barbarian hordes by the guys who were shooting film...
The good part of $2,500 MiniDV camcorders and $2,500 FCP editing set-ups is that anyone who wants to can make porn. The bad part is that anyone who wants to can make porn!
How else should I describe his attitude towards talent? This is not the first time he does this against talent and it pisses me off that guys like VV are treating the girls like this, they deserve a lot more respect in my opinion for doing such a hard job and it's not up to you or VV to degrade them like that but talking to you is a waste of time because you will defend your partner no matter what so what's the point?
Obviously, I'm a new member on this great site but what is all this complaints about Vince Vouyer? I have watched and I own quite a bit of his RLD titles and I think he is one of the better directors out there, He is definitely up there on my top list with the likes of JJ,Quasar,Mike John,Erik Everhard and michael stefano.
And I love Brooke too, think she is very sexy and has one of the best sets of funbags in the adult industry right now. I'm looking forward to this new Chico movie and hope for a great facial :)
Wasn't there a volume of BREAKIN' 'EM IN where Vince reduces a girl to tears in a bathroom, or did she cry for some other reason? I seem to recall no. 4, but I've never seen that series and am only recalling hearsay, so don't quote me.
Charles Barkley and I share the same birthday, as does Sean Michaels; how apt of you to mention Sir Charles, who's said his share of controversial things. One of my favorites of his was given to the Philadelphia news media about 12 years ago, when Charles and his girlfriend had a baby. Charles said, with complete seriousness to a TV reporter, that prior to the birth, he had no respect for women, but now he does. Thanks, Charles, what a guy!
Back to the topic, I believe what Chico means it when he talks about pressuring actresses. He's trying to get edgy footage, to give himself an advantage over other directors, and if he has to play on a girl's self esteem or fears to do it, well - so what! He's just being honest about his modus operandi .
Your comment about Lexington Steele: given his position as one of the top male stars, I would bet he does nothing except what he wants to do. With the prevalence of rimming, the fact that he hasn't done it makes me believe that he gets his way, period. If an actress were to do something like you have suggested, I assume Steele would stop the filming. The director would know full well that he can't just replace Steele on the spot, what with the shortage of top actors, so the director either would give into the actor's request for no rimming, or have to stop the scene. Either way, Steele doesn't have to do rimming.
Comparing this to the tens upon tens of young porn actresses who parade through Los Angeles, Budapest or Prague is not fair. A more equivalent situation would be Jenna Jameson, and her ability to say no to anal sex. If an actor tried to suddenly make her do anal in the middle of a scene - you can bet that the scene comes to a halt, and that's the last time that actor is in one of her films.
A note to Lee O: I am not the doyenne of ADT, others have been here far longer than me. I'm just a porn fan, who thinks viewers should get what they pay for, not more or less, and no big surprises, either.
Go and check out the thread about Rocco's thoughts on porn; I found a photo still of his that's out of the ordinary.
Oh no you must have been at one of the top secret old boys club meetings where we make our evil plans to degrade women. You have quite an imagination, and clearly an over abundance of free time.I am allowed to state my opinion just like you ramsey. Unlike you I have seen the movie, and I do know the girl and her agent. My reputation inside the industry rides on how I treat talent both male and female. You are free to dream up any evil fantasies you like but thats all it is, fantasy in your mind. I hope it turns you on

A note to everyone throwing comments in this thread - read my comment above and get it back on topic.
Brooke's walking out on her scene reminds me of THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT JACK 7. In this film, Cherry Mirage calls off a scene with jack Napier when he tries to go for pussy sex after a pretty fine Bj. She claims the dick is 'too big'. It actually made for one of the more fun extras I've seen, as Napier thinks it's hilarious.
I suppose Napier could've been pissed off and said - hey, are you up for this or what? I don't know if it was set-up that way, or if they'd planned to shoot a sex scene and Cherry just changed her mind. They turned it into a nice extra nonetheless.
Not having seen this scene, I wonder if it'll produce the same sort of warts-and-all buzz. I wonder if Vouyeur can match Napier's easy-going adapatability to a porn star saying 'no'. Anyway, sometimes it's what you don't get to see that's the biggest buzz of all.
Sorry if that sounded sarcastic Renee , it was just a tongue in cheek comment which harked back to something you once wrote to me . It was meant to be said with a smile glinting across my lips , unfortunately it doesn't really read that way , does it .
BTW I love being surprised when I put in a DVD , if it's a good surprise that is . The last one came with Anita Dark's train scene in L'Empreinte de Vice , I hadn't even noticed her in the cast list . Course , mostly they aint so pleasant or welcome ...

If he had the scene setup for the vaginal sex, he had the right to be upset as I see it, BUT how he handles it and how VV handles it is different, just like it may be different on how JJ or Mike Stefano may handle it. I still would question the girl/agent that would agree to vaginal sex with a 'big dick' and back out at the last moment, just doesn't seem logical to me at all, I mean Jack is KNOWN for his cock... lol.
Anyway all this hoopla only makes me stand a bit more behind VV, I just think he's an honest guy telling some what they don't want to hear or showing some what they don't want to see. I will say some of the girls I have talked to enjoy working for him, while others don't, all comes down to personal taste.
Also Ultrasiet said there was a girl in tears doing anal in Breakin em in #4, that was Crystal Ray, I assume she signed up for anal/DP and took both, but I don't know for sure 100% other than the fact she did anal and a DP . The man out side talking her back onto the set was David Luger, NOT VV.
Just to set the record straight, I do not work for Vince Vouyer. His product is distributed through Red Light District and I work for Red Light. We have offices in the same building and that's about it. So the assumption that I defend him because he signs my checks is wrong.
These girls are paid to do a job. I would think that your employer expects 100% from you on the clock and no less. Why shouldn't directors do the same?
With the advent of cheap DV, a lot of us are finding out that what we thought was our highly valued expertise, artistry and craftsmenship was merely our access to the means of production.
The thing with Jack and "Cherri" was real. a Similar thing happened to me, I was booked for an anal with a "big guy" thats fine, I had never heard of Jack Napier, I own literally hundreds of porn and still managed to never have seen his cock. It was my first week in the business. I actually screwed his name up twice in the pre interview!
I did my best and the director ended up cutting the scene, after bj, 3 vag positions and 2 short anal positions and 2 pops. because he felt I looked like I was in to much pain. I went home.I redid the scene (very well) the next week before I was paid. They were nice to me and in the end it all worked out, but my point was sure I thought I could take a big cock at the time, but theres big and then there is BIG.
It really pisses me off though that there are "Brookes" that will always get contracts and more work because they are hot, no matter how much attitude they throw.I know it's a fantasy and young hot girls are more valueable, but there are so many chicks out there doing every thing and loving it and bending over backwards and not getting the breaks or money she does. She has a right to say no to anything, and why should she ever say yes, she gets the gig anyways!
That might be the name of the game now, but it won't be forever. Looks fade. Being able to show up on time and and enjoy one's choosen vocation last a lifetime, and they are "transferable skills". Don't begrudge Brooke and her ilk the power their looks afford them. You've got a whole lotta years to reap the rewards of being who you are; Brooke's only got a few years, maybe only months.
The pity is that the industry as a whole, both people who make porn and people who watch it (chicken and egg) just don't place that big a premium on how much a woman might actually be enjoying offering herself up for our voyeuristic enjoyment. While you have something that's both rare and special, it's only a select group of viewers who place a premium on it. Were it the other way around, I'd probably watch a lot more porn.
Jeeze, Tony, I know you're talking in a "porn context," but that comment makes Brooke sound kind of pathetic. Let's hope she isn't banking on her looks solely to get ahead in life. I'm sure she must have some good things going for her that have nothing to do with how pretty she is or whether or not she wants to take a facial frosting from Chico.
However, I know if I had to choose between Brooke or Kami to star in a production, well ... it's no contest!
If I was Red Light District, I would either pay her only a small partial payment for services rendered/not rendered or ask her for a full refund cause she broke the initial agreement of the contract.
In most businesses, if you don't perform the actual services agreed upon, you're fired or the contract's voided & all moneys returned!
Syber, the same is generally true in gonzo. Believe it or not, most of the details regarding shoots are discussed beforehand with the agents. If a girl does anal, no gonzo director wants a vag only scene.
I've had scenes when a girl was testing me. Her pussy hurts from working too much or her ass hurts from working too much.
I don't think I'm out of line when I tell her that I simply will not be able to shoot a scene at half speed because of her internal problems. Kind of like guys who can't get hard and are no longer invited on my sets.
I anticipate that the performers come to my set and act professional and give a professional caliber scene.
When a girl starts whining before the scene and am ill-prepared to give 100%, you have to cut your losses quick and complain vigorously to the agency.
Likewise, if a guy starts making excuses, you give him the evil eye and tell him to bail and ask one of your regulars.
After all, no director wants to shoot enough to 'get the scene' albeit how limpass and devoid of energy it is. Most directors want a smoking scene, not a scene buried in the middle of the video.
Everything that chico just posted hits the nail on the head, plus the fans demand smoking scenes more than anyone in the chain. Not all scenes can be barn burners. If I shoot a highly problematic scene it stays in the can,its not passed on to the consumer with an excuse.
