Brooklyn that is probably the best retirement 'speech' I've ever heard, sounds like you're making the right choice for yourself. Good luck in all you do in the future
Every once in a great so often, a performer comes along who stands out far beyond the rest... A performer so unique that you know that you're watching greatness up on the screen without it even requiring further thought... A performer who can be taken seriously as an artist in a profession that often isn't taken so seriously at all... A performer who bares her soul and puts it all out there in every scene... Brooklyn Lee was one of those performers. Sasha Grey was another one, but Brooklyn is the best that I've seen...even after having watched this stuff for over two decades and having dug back two decades more prior to that. Brooklyn is also awesome to meet in person... a friendly and intelligent individual. She was so cool to both me and my wife at Exxxotica in Chicago of last year. With that, she has my absolute best wishes in going forward in life. May her future shine as brightly as possible...and be as sparkling as she deserves it to be. As Spiegler said above: Brooklyn will be sorely missed. Greatness has left the building, friends. The mould has been broken. (...some further thoughts, comments, and links on my blog...)
I wish you well going forward in your life Brooklyn. Thanks for the memories, and be the very best you can be in your new endeavors!

Brooklyn...You may have retired, but you can rest assured that there will be many a guy who will be flapping to your movies for a long long time!
Best wishes in all you do.

Brooklyn you were the best and went out leaving us wanting more. If you ever decide to come back we'll be over the moon, if not, I wish you all the best for your future and I'm sure you'll be a success in whatever you choose to do :)

Voracious 2 shoots this summer. Since her character was so important, it wouldn't make much sense to have a script that didn't include her in some way. However, yes, Brooklyn is retired from doing sex scenes. The script was already finished before Brooklyn made her official announcement on here, and the script reflects that info. I can't give away any more than that (hope it wasn't too cryptic) until shooting is wrapped later this summer.
Rob Black owned & operated a studio, "Extreme Associates", from around 1998 to 2004 or so. http://www.iafd.com/distrib.rme/distrib=1000/extreme-associates.htm He appears to be an argumentative type by nature so who knows how Rob and Brooklyn got started. Brooklyn's comment that "nobody ever heard of Rob" were silly which is why Brooklyn got push-back on Twitter from several industry people who have actually been around for more than 3-4 years. Brooklyn was wrong here. Rob was just as wrong on Asa. Neither Patrick nor Mark "made" Asa - at most they gave her opportunities to take advantage of. It's probably something like this that set off the Rob/Brooklyn kerfuffle.
I encourage everybody to FLOOD Rob Black with your dissatisfaction with the way he treated Brooklyn and countless others @RealRobBlack .He thinks he's the voice of the porn industry and is nothing more than a little troll of a man with an ax to grind. FLOOD HIS FUCKING EMAIL. He doesn't deserve to have his own radio show!!
Jeez, doesn't feel like 2 and a bit years since I started this thread. It's good that Brooklyn knows what she wants to do, but as others have said; she will be sorely missed. Live long and prosper.
Rob Black didn't have anything to do with Brooklyn retiring. He's irrelevant in that decision. Brooklyn often said she wanted to direct, and not long ago was talking about doing her own XXX film. Things change quickly though, and she is smarter than the average person, so whatever she decides will be best for her. She should have been more popular IMO. In terms of awards she was recognised, but one look at the amount of posts on this forum, compared to Remy Lacroix or a newbie like Mia Malkova for example, suggests that she didn't get the widespread fandom she deserved. She was a better performer than these 2 IMO, and more of a classic beauty. I think she was the thinking mans pornstar lol.
I like that you used "IMO", because mainly your post is your opinon only. Since we are talking about opinions i feel i should talk about mine. Brook was famous well enough, she had the right anount of awards, right of amount of fans. She was successful and she can be proud of having a good carrer. On the side note, i don't like when you say that she was the "thinking man" pornstar. I admit that having her on your list of "must watch" is wise choice and sign of good taste, but that dosen't mean if you don't, that you aren't "thinking". Maybe you didn't pick up on the lol I put at the end. This is generally used to show that you are making a joke or that whatever proceeds it isn't to be taken seriously. The joke being I was a big fan of BLee so therefore she must be the thinking mans pornstar. She is really intelligent though, I learned that by reading her blogs and twitter updates. And she would often be self deprecating in interviews which was a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of pornstars.
Awesome farewell gift! Brooklyn in a squirt themed Elegant Angel movie! I believe the release date isn't known yet, but it's on their website under "coming soon".
