By avoiding the series concept, it will probably be easier to do new things from one video to the next.

For the most part, I am not a big fan of Vivid titles. However, I really like most of the stuff that Robby D has done with their "Raw" line.

Read a few of my reviews, I'll be reviewing the fisrst 5 of ASS next week or so, and feel free to inquire about more detail. Bottom line, a good volume in either ASS or Watcher is a rarity.

ACTION SPORTS SEX is a GREAT series. Better than the Watchers Series and a good gonzo series. The girls ARE hot, the scenes are raw and the camera angles are good.

One of the later Action Sports has an interesting squirting scene, many of them have obvious inexperienced anal scenes, and the cheasy plots are kinda funny.

A review is like an opinion, we all have them. I seriously do like the Action Sports series. The Watcher Series.......eh, its ok. But it IS a gonzo series in reference to the topic.

Action Sports sex 4 has an impressive deep throat by Bobbi Bliss. Gonzo titles arent supposed to have plots......thats why they are gonzo.

Again, I'd never hype up a title just because we sell them.

When you consider the *very* low price these titles are offered at when they are sale, I think they are bargains. This is especially true if one of your favorite starlets appears in it. I've seen them as low as $6.00 each.

To suggest that a dvd cover adequately describes the content is also a bit naive. If you think limited production values, combined with heavily tattooed women/pierced women that are generally a bit worn looking (there have been some exceptions but they are few and far between) make for a "great" series, then ASS certainly qualifies.

Snowman: I agree that a title's worth increases if a favorite star is in the dvd. I don't hear much call for the women that participate on the titles in question-even though a few have slightly more than mechanical sex. Que sara...

PS: When members, not you, post messages with large, offensive ad's that must be censored, it tells you something. In any case, someone looking for the series can generally find them well under $10 using the price search and under $5 on sale. Anyone willing to pay over $15 for any of them can send me an email-I have a bridge to sell them.

Opinions are like assholes. lol. A review is a factor of your personal tastes. My idea of a great movie might not be the same as yours. I forogt about Colorblind and havent seen an of them yet to judge.

Box covers are usually a total lie. Half the time the girls arent even dressed the same in the video. But the ASS series is pretty accurate.

And I loved Action Sports 1 (I think) where that brunette fit that 12" ball dildo thing all the way up her ass. To me, thats something unique and it had an amateur flavor to it. The orignal post was referring to GONZO series. I think ASS is a great gonzo series.

As far as pricing goes, ANY product could be sold for 50 - 75% less than it sells for. This is true. But if you're a business, you have to profit. Anyone selling an item at $1 profit is a fool and will not be in business for long. I need to post all the dvd companies that have come and gone over the years. I honestly dont want to talk business on here but we base prices on our service. Let me compare it to things on Ebay. You can always get an item cheap on ebay but you're gonna get hammered (usually) in shipping charges. No one selling an item sells it to "give it away" :)

Reviews - I cant do reviews. These message boards are the only place where I can speak freely. I have to think of EVERY DVD as a work of art to help it sell. lol. Aint that a bitch.

Reviews: You are correct about reviews except I think what I was hoping for-besides you reviewing a few titles-was something more than a generic statement of why you thought the serie was "Great". I gave a few of them pretty high marks-way high for Vivid titles-so I think I recognized their niche in the marketplace, I just don't see where anyone would confuse them for great. Great Gonzo has a name-Evil Angel. (Tricia owes me a hug for that one)

Snowman, Gonzo in general isn't the problem. It's what Vivid does (and doesn't do) with the genre that brings up the deficiencies. Of the women you named, most seem to make a lot of movies-all porn genres, not just Gonzo-and for all my teasing Skeeter about his wife-her better stuff has been in features, not budget gonzo. The same holds true for others on the list and to compare Anabolic with Vivid makes me wonder a bit. A single Evil Angel dvd, or even Anabolic, randomly selected, will be better than a handpicked Vivid. It'll usually have lasting value and fun whereas the Vivid title, on a good pick, will usually be worth a one time rental. Thanks for responding though, you both raised some good points.

PS: Baron, I still didn't understand why you "can't" review anything-pick out a few titles that you like if you don't want to appear critical/hurt your sales.

Review wise, Im not a reviewer, just a seller/viewer. I read some of youre reviews thanks to the link above from the moderator.

My personal review of a movie would more encompass the entire DVD itself. For instance: Gag Factor. An aggressive oral sex with a throat choaking theme. No plot, just nasty oral abuse with some minor face slapping. I enjoyed the disgusting scenes and was delighted to see the candid behind the scenes shots. I thought the spit/giz/slobber dripping all over the place was amazingly sexy and well filmed. It was disgustingly classy without being weird (such as a Rodney Moore flick where he pushes the girls hair in her face and cums in her hair).

I also thought CONQUEST was good and CASHMERE was, to me, very original and enjoyable.

Having seen less movies than you I'd have to say that your review carries more weight. Yes, I could cliam that your taste might not be the same but your review would show your dislike for a certain style. I still think Action Sports was a good GONZO series. The series carries a silly theme which adds to the fantasy.
