Obviously u need a DVD burner for starters. It might be possible with certain programs - I don't have a DVD burner, getting one shortly so I thought I would ask now. You could save your self some time encoding by buying the right dvd player. Check out www.videohelp.com go to the section (on left side) that says dvd player. Then do some seraching. Try looking for a dvd player that can play Mpg files and divx files. That way you wont have to re-encode as much. I have no experience with divx dvd player. Theres a philips DVP-642 ( I think thats the one) but from reviews on that site, a few have complained that the player dies after a while, but there is a fix if you know your way around a soldering iron. The dvd player I own is Apex AD110W (40.00USD). This one can play mpg files that were just burned on a cd or dvd as data. If you can find this, get it. (Note: no divx support on it). Dvd burner. try newegg.com. great deal on NEC 3540 drives. I bought 3520 great drive. [Link] |
