You know what a man's greatest fear is when he begins to interact with a woman? That she'll laugh at him. A woman's greatest fear when she begins to interact with a man? That he'll end up killing her. Some privilege...

The other side of this is equally simple, although I suppose few men want to admit to it, and it is, again, an example that there is no female sexual privilege.
If men wanted there to be more available sluts, they shouldn't have punished women for centuries for being sluts. You have only yourself to thank for women who do not want to put out.

As to the original post;
An escort can decline a client for any reason whatsoever. How does it work? That depends on the escort in question.
Some choose to meet with potential clients before an actual appointment, "Let's meet for coffee and see if we have any chemistry." This is beneficial for the client as well as the escort, because there may be some misrepresentation in advertising on the escort's part. This gives both parties an opportunity to meet in a non-threatening situation in a public place where they can check each other out, make sure they aren't dealing with a "time waster", and openly discuss matters that neither party may be comfortable discussing on the telephone or in email.
Others escorts don't meet potential clients until the first appointment has been made. The guy shows up at the door and they go from there. It may be noted that men also decide not to go through with the scheduled appointment. They decide the escort is not what they wanted and they leave. Generally speaking, they leave without even offering a nominal token of financial reimbursement for the costs the escort assumed for the appointment (i.e. the hotel room).
Most escorts will not quit an appointment that has been accepted unless there is something truly wrong and bad - like violence or refusing to use protection or refusing to respect sexual limits (which is just violence but I'm making certain you get the difference between sexual violence and simple physical assault). If a dude is stinky and unclean she might playfully suggest they get wild in the shower, or she might simply tell him "Whoa dude, you got some funk - go have a quick wash up and we'll get to it when it doesn't curl my nose hairs." If the guy refuses to be sanitary, she hands him his money back and shows him to the door, OR she pinches her nose and finishes the appointment - and never sees that guy again, and tells everyone else she knows that he's a stinky dude that refuses to wash and they won't see him either.
Most things that a woman seeking a partner might find objectionable are not going to bother an escort, she is not there to fall in love with you and spend the rest of her life with you. She's there to treat you well for an hour or two, and it's really not that difficult to be nice to someone for a couple hours of your life. Escorts are not put off by overweight clients, unless the client is so incredibly overweight that the sexual act is nearly impossible to commit, or the client insists on doing something that his weight makes improbable or dangerous. Escorts are not put off by less than conventionally attractive clients, amputees, psoriasis, baldness/hirsuteness, or any of a host of other potential disfigurements. Of course, this is a generalisation. Each individual escort may not choose to meet with clients that have particular traits that she finds upsetting or too disturbing/distasteful.
One thing most escorts won't put up with is a bad attitude. If you treat an escort like you think she's a bitch for taking your money, you'll quickly find out that your money can't buy anything.

That's pure nonsense. I am a male born 20 years after the start of second-wave feminism, not in the 18th or 19th centuries. I have nothing to do with ancient sexist men who blamed women for enjoying sex. I personally have no issue with women being sluts, in fact I like them much more than women who use men, or charge them for sex, or prudish women who don't do anything in bed, so you have no clue what you are talking about.

This is what happened to me: I called an escort agency and was very specific about the type of woman I wanted; even insisting on speaking directly with the escort beforehand, just to be extra sure about the special request. The agency person assured me everything would be great and I would really like the woman she was sending and it was against policy for me to talk with the escort. Well the woman showed up (at my hotel room door) and was not at all what I wanted. I said (as kindly as possible) she was not what I requested and not what the agency promised and I would not be going through with the appointment, thank you, nothing personal, etc. She got on the phone and called the agency; apparently/supposedly there had been noncommunication/miscommunication between the escort and the agency which caused the error. So then she demands $40 for the expense of her coming to my room. Oh and BTW she had a guy with her (her "driver") who decided to get involved in the $40 discussion. I was a chicken and paid the money and felt like a total chump. I still think the whole thing was a setup but whatever. But if I had pushed it and things got out of hand, I had a lot of cash (I was prepared to pay the escort $250-300) in the room they could have taken from me. Plus I was on a business trip and therefore couldn't afford trouble.

Sounds like a total scam. I wonder how many guys they do that to, it's basically robbery.
Why did you pay, why not just walk away and leave, did the guy corner you or something? And who paid for the cost of the hotel room, the escort or you?

Actually there's very little logic in that. Most men don't "punish" women for being sluts any more (and the ones that do are hypocritical jerks) so why would something that happened in the past still affect the way women behave in 2014 toward men? If you believe that both men and women are equally sexual beings (which I know is a big debate among feminists and sexologists) and both genders enjoy engaging in sexual activity, then why are women still punishing men by "expecting" stuff from them first in order to get laid? Gay men don't do this to each other. Straight men don't do this to women. Lesbians don't do this. It's only straight/bisexual women who use men in this way.

It was my hotel room; I was traveling, had my luggage and personal belongings in the room with me, so walking away was not an option. The hotel room was rented for my business trip; I did not rent it expressly for the purpose of getting an escort. The escort idea was a whim/afterthought. The guy did not corner me, and I probably could have defeated him in a physical fight. But I had too much at risk. What if the police got involved, or my boss found out, or the guy had a gun, or they decided to actually rob me of ALL of my money instead of only $40? I was at a big disadvantage; they had nothing to lose and nothing at stake. Paying the money seemed the smartest option at the time.

You already said you would never hire a hooker, so why do you care that they can earn money by offering sex? That sort of arrangement shouldn't concern you because you'll never engage in it. Why are you so bothered by it?
As for women who aren't hookers, well no, they generally don't expect to get stuff in order to have sex with a guy. Back when I was dating, I had sex with a number of very nice women, and I barely had enough money to pay rent and buy food. Most of my friends and associates who are dating split costs with the women they date.
If the only women you meet expect gifts, lavish entertainment or money from you before they'll have sex with you, it's probably because you don't have much to offer besides material goods. If you don't like it, maybe you should work on developing a personality and sense of humor. Are you even getting laid at the moment? If not, I guarantee you it's not because you don't have money. It's because you have bitterness towards women, and you've made that painfully obvious with what you've wrote.

That's BS.
These things happen. And you were right to give the $40, the crooks asked. If not they could have made trouble with you, either by calling a policeman and accusing you of stupid things, or by waiting you at the corner of the street. You never know.
But you can also discuss a bargain and offer $10, and end up paying $20...
Ah, so you too were into prostitution? :D
This is dishonest.
And why I stopped offering drinks very quickely. I never got laid after I offered a drink. Never.

I never tried picking up women in bars. Now, I've had women try to pick me up in bars, and I'm talking full court press. The temptation thus engendered eventually put an end to my drinking in bars, as I'm really not fond of 'four F' sex, no matter what my lizard brain says. I was never that fond of booze, either, so no great loss.
My work brought me into contact with plenty of women, so that was never a problem.

Sure, that sounds reasonable.
So here are the new rules of engagement:
1. Have money.
2. Be willing to spend it.
3. Don't be poor.
4. Be attractive.
5. Don't be unattractive.
Got it, Cloudburst? Good! Happy pussy hunting.

I've actually seen it quite a few times. Even if a guy with a dangerous sense of entitlement has no intent to actually carry out physical harm, even the threat is enough to scare a lot of people (not just women). Your incredulous indignation means jack to me, same with the OP (I've seen it in multiple threads now). This thread has gone way past the point of comedy...

Hardware what type of occupation did you work in?
You must be a very attractive guy.
When women tried to pick you up how aggressive were they, did they make all the moves or did you still have to be somewhat aggressive and show confidence? Also did they buy the drinks or did you still pay?

Wahine do you mean masculine in personality but feminine in appearance?
There is an attractive female I know who is very butch/masculine but her style of dress and appearance is totally feminine. It gets weirder because on top of that she has a lanky masculine body (no tits, no hips, very thin), has a masculine style of speech (always saying hey man, hey dude) but she identifies as straight, go figure...

I never felt especially attractive, since most of the gals would run right over me in order to get at my brother when we were teenagers. However, I've been told that I was good looking, plus I wasn't lacking in confidence. I wasn't afraid to admire a woman, but I didn't run after them with my tongue hanging out.

Drinks? We don't need no stinking drinks. lol
The ladies didn't get together to discuss strategy, so it isn't like every one of them acted the same. Like I said, though, I've gotten the full court press. It is a wonder the bartender didn't throw us out. Okay, considering the bar we were in, it would have been wonder if the bartender noticed but, still...
I didn't have to 'act' like anything. I was who I was and she wanted a piece of me. Going somewhere private was optional.

Regarding the type of girl I described in my post from the other day (masculine, tomboyish, whatever word you want to use); are they usually better in bed (i.e. more aggressive/open-minded)?
The reason I ask is because I've never been with one, the few girls I've had sex with were all what I guess you would call "traditionally feminine".

I mean by that that the level of murder and violent physical agressions is very low in this business given the risk potential. Because usualy men get less violent when they can get sex.
I'm not saying it doesn't happen. It happens daily. But it's a very low percentage. A person working at night shop is facing way more risk IMO.
And I knew of a tomboyish lesbian who used to say "Oh Boy!" every 5 seconds... even wierder. ;)
I don't know... but the question is will YOU be as agressive as with a more attractive one?

Also, the other two quotes you've attributed to me aren't mine.

I think your assumption is flawed. Let me give you a personal example - I dated this woman who was also seeing a friend of mine. According to her, he was very controlling in bed, whereas I am perfectly willing to trade the lead. That being so, her behavior in my bed was much different than it was in his.
I would also point out that some of the most submissive men in the bedroom are alpha males in the boardroom.
In short, trying to categorize women is a mistake. You need to deal with each woman on her own terms.

Hardware, thanks for the reply but you're sort of dodging my question. Specifically what I asked about was if masculine/butch straight women are more aggressive/open-minded when it comes to sex. If I had to guess I would say yes, but I wanted to see how other people on this forum felt about it.

As usual, most people on here like Hardware and Goregoregirl aren't even reading what I wrote.
If you go back and actually read my description of the girl, it's about a lot more than just how she looks. It's her whole masculine personality, style of speech, mannerisms, voice, etc.

To say that I am dodging it suggests that there is some study out there somewhere that has a definitive answer, which I refuse to divulge to you. To the best of my knowledge, there is not.
Regardless, the question presupposes that all 'masculine/butch straight' women can be defined by a single set of sexual behaviors which, as GoreGoreGirl keeps trying to tell you, is absurd on its face.
Again, we do know that some 'masculine/extrovert/alpha' males prefer not to be dominant/aggressive when it comes to sex, so there is no reason to assume that masculine/butch/extrovert females must be dominant/aggressive. Can you find one that is? I'm sure that you can. Good luck with that.
However, and again, I can personally attest to the fact that the sexual behavior of individual humans can change depending upon circumstances and partners. Thus, even if you find a "masculine/butch straight" woman being "more aggressive/open-minded" than a, erm, not masculine/butch straight woman, it doesn't suffice to prove a pattern of behavior.

No they aren't. If they were I would have dated one and I never dated any.
From my humble experience, I'd say it's quiet the opposite: They are less interrested in sex.
Hope this was close to what you expected for answer... If not feel free to duplicate your question again below.
