On the IAFD, we're virtually non-nude, period. Non-nude = no records keeping 2257 bullshit. Which one of you would prefer losing ADT and/or IAFD to a government 2257 witch-hunt? Any volunteers for prision time? Being personally and financially destroyed defending yourself? Discussions went on the RAME newsgroup, and for quite some time IAFD administrators were set against setting up a discussion forum. What changed? RAME had no pics of any nature at all, and there was nowhere to post pics years back. All of a sudden we can't live without pics or discussion forums. When was the last time ADT was raided by the FBI asking for 2257 record keeping for all the porn material appearing there? When was the last time the FBI raided a well-known porn producer/distributor for record keeping verification (general, or specific to a particular performer?) If ADT does not want want to deal with the issue in its OWN back yard, then it should not be suggesting someone else take the risk. The simplest thing would be to say: no links, no picture postings PERIOD. Just written discussions like RAME used to be. ADT would not be sweating over 2257 regulations, the mods would not have to continusouly admonish posters over such policy. CNN and other networks blur pictures/videos of nude individuals. Do they get 2257 releases? News mags and other networks use racy pictures (which would not even qualify under ADT rules). Do they have 2257 releases? Really, it is because of the ADT icture posting policy that keeps its safe from government and public witch hunts? Wow! And the discussions of course are at the level of Shakespeare material and the pics of video box covers and banners show ancient Roman ruins? [Link] |
