Aside from being in every adult magazine during that time, she was Michael Ninn's first " contract " girl shooting for both NinnWorx and Suze Randall during that period. In 2004 she was on the cover of AVN magazine being touted as one of the " New Faces of Adult ". With her contract fulfilled, she took a " hiatus " from porn and never returned. And I definitely think that Bree Mills and Mike Quasar both deserve it. That is the hill I will die on. With Mike, I don't know a harder working director that has made such a mark on the industry, is able to seam together entire movies in record time, and not to mention has a spot in the AVN hall of fame. Keri Sable award: Jenna Haze. Hands down. Welcome back award: Tori Black's return got so much attention that I think it kind of overshadowed anyone else's comeback to the industry. Dana DeArmond is back after a year break and I'd definitely nominate her. Manuel Ferrara/ Best Male performer Xander Corvus or Marcus Dupree. Both solid performers, have always been extremely nice and fun when I've worked with them. Breakout award: Would definitely agree that Gina Valentina and Melissa Moore both belong in this category. Anyone else see Kissa Sins' big announcement? She's been so popular for so long and that deal with Jules just made her the top person in the running for the breakout award. Janine award/ Best G/G performer: From my personal experience working with her, Lena Paul should be in this category. Why she wasn't nominated for G/G performer of the year, I'll never know. Anyways! It should be Georgia Jones. More than deserving. I even had her as my pick for G.O.T.Y. Kay Parker award/ Best Milf: Julia Ann or Mercedes Carrera. Both are icons. Veronica was tremendous and I still can't believe it wasn't nominated. Tori's comeback was worth the price of admission and the GOAT hasn't lost a step at all! Katrina's release was a unique showcase and I hope we see more of this where we get a taste of the girl's personal life. Eva is gorgeous and did a great job with her first anal in her showcase. Lana put out two very good showcases with the Greg Lansky one being just a little bit better, IMO. Angela is tremendous and put out some fantastic releases this year. But the winner of this category was easy to name. Angela 3 had everything you would want in a showcase movie. It had great teases. It had a creampie finish (her first on camera), a swallowing finish and plenty of facials. It had not one but two gangbangs including one interracial. It had a DP, a double anal and a double vag! And a triple penetration! This 2 disk set will always keep you coming back to watch again and again. If you're not a member at BAM Visions, you're missing out! Jonni is a legend and especially showcases Asian women in the best light. I love the content Mark and Francesca put out for LeWood. If you're a girl/girl fan, Stills By Alan is putting out the best content right now. He's so good that Bree can concentrate on her new venture with Craven Morehead. Pure Taboo has some intense acting and, more importantly, hot sex. Mimefreak does some nice work for Arch Angel. Jacky does most of her work for Sweet Sinner now but the fourth installment in the Emma Marx series was a masterpiece. And Toni puts out some magical content, especially when he gets his DP partner, Ramon Nomar, involved. That leaves me down to two, Greg Lansky and Mason. These two are undoubtedly the two best directors in the adult industry today, maybe ever. They both put out a consistent catalog that rates 4 1/2 stars or higher by yours truly. They get first times, they get comebacks, they get teens, they get MILFs and they show everyone in the best light and put out the best sexual trysts. It's a coinflip either way but I have to man up and make a decision. Xander is getting better and better and has some good acting chops. Dredd is definitely making a name for himself in this industry. Jean shoots some great content for Greg Lansky. Ricky is newer but is already established. If you watch any scene on Brazzers, chances are you are going to see Kieran perform. Ramon is steady and really gets into his performances. Prince is one of the top pornstars out there. Mick Blue has been the winner of this award ever since I started this and he has not lost a step. He is an outstanding performer and someone I consider a friend. But I think there is one male performer who outdid him this year. It's his tag team partner in DP's and, from talking to the girls, he is a very good performer and the females love working with him. He works a lot and turns in solid performances every time out. I included Alyssa in this category becuase she put in some outstanding anal scenes before leaving the industry. Chloe is just a cute teen with a great sexual appetite. Honey has a great look to her (and a side note, I love how open she was with me in her interview), Jill is a sexy young blonde who always performs nicely. Giselle is gorgeous and is outstanding. Lena is popular and a good performer. Violet has everything going for her and is going to be a star. Whitney is getting better and better and she's already very good! But the girl who gets this award is a total professional on set (not that the others aren't) and has a good head for business. Adriana has a good chance to win back-to-back POTY trophies joining Tori Black. She only knows one speed and that's 500mph. Abella was a deserving Best New Starlet a couple of years ago and has deservedly shown up in POTY categories ever since. She's great! Keisha is a popular performer with a great natural body and keeps turning up the heat. Holly is one of my favorites and is incredible every time she appears on camera. Katrina had the best year of her career and her showcase movie for Evil Angel was great. Eva also had an outstanding showcase movie with her first anal in it. Abigail is mesmerizing every time she appears on camera. Such a gorgeous babe and turns in very hot performances. Lana had a really nice year and has a cult following among her fans. Riley is always outstanding and tied a record (by my count) of most POTY nominations, winning one. She's fantastic and her showcase was great! But there is one woman who dominated the year. She made the greatest impact of any non-US born entertainer in the United States since the Beatles in 1964. This was the year of Angela with 5 showcase films and fantastic performances for every studio that she shot for! She is so great, producers and directors can't get enough of her and keep asking her back to shoot!
