You have Skin Diamond, but she's something of an outlier, where she was kind of everywhere, always in demand, doing whatever she wanted. The rest of the black females get regulated to a scene here and there, almost always interracial(probably something from Dogfart, which can be bad or good), with a DVD dedicated to them once in a great while(again, always interracial, and never an individual showcase). I hate it, and It annoys me that Chanell Heart, Anya Ivy, Teanna Trump, Ana Foxx, Nicole Bexley, etc... aren't in way more scenes (and be on the look out for Camille Amore). I just want way more black women in my porn, in every facet but I guess you really have to almost strictly adhere to what the market dictates these days. It stings though.

^ It's somethin' how this thread has gone quiet since she became exclusive to Axel Braun Productions. Man, this thread was poppin' when she was doing all things gonzo and especially when the Blacked showcase was revealed. Now that I mention it, I think I'll go watch Obsession (again) this weekend.
^ At least for me, any time a girl signs an exclusive deal it means 9 times out of 10 it's for a company I don't support, but take that with a grain of salt since I only watch girl/girl haha (Malena with WLT the exception to this rule). With Carter, I get why she'd sign an exclusive deal since she's interested in things outside of porn, but just watching the little trailers from Axel Braun stuff makes me feel like he's a total hack compared to Mason, Lansky, etc. I wish she would've signed a deal with one of those directors and at least not have been in terrible parodies. Even on Twitter she is very cool. But why would she quit if she had bad experience with one producer?
She didn't quit. She was under contract and still is. She said once she asked for her money they shelved her scenes. I think she said her contract is up this month.
^ She tweeted today that Axel breached her contract and she performed two scenes that she didn't get her payment for. She asked for her money and they shut her down until the end of the contract. Said that Axel threatened to sue her if she talked about it and a few hours later the tweets were gone.

Once a girl outs a production company on social media they find the work tends to dry up. Thats the studio's method of dealing with the girls that dare to complain over unfair treatment of any kind.
^^ Not always. Remy LaCroix had a pretty public Twitter spat with ArchAngel while she was under contract with them. She later broke her contract with them and companies were still lining up to shoot her after that. If Carter is having this much trouble with Axel Braun Productions and still wants to keep shooting porn, she should just split and start shooting with other companies.

^Yeah, maybe some of Axel's close friends in the industry won't shoot her but that's about it. As long as producers think they can make money off of her without too much hassle she'll be fine.

Riley Steele had the same problem with Axel back in May and she posted on her twitter that she had signed with LADirect for bookings and bought herself out of her contract. Her reasons were pay issues as well but a week later it seemed to be resolved and she was back tweeting about being an ABP contract star
I think this situation is different enough from Remy's that it isn't a great example. Remy's situation seemed to be that she was signed to do X amount of scenes, and she had realized at that point that she was never actually going to do that many (or, more to the point, get paid for doing that many), which she considered breach of contract and got out of her contract (and remember that Arch agreed to let her out of her contract early, she didn't just up and leave without their permission). Carter's situation isn't about the amount of scenes, but not getting paid for scenes she's already shot (but might not be released yet), and it's possible that Axel/Wicked haven't actually breached her contract by not paying her yet.
