Audible.com did a great series called "The Butterfly Effect" about the effect of tube sites on the porn industry and society at large. One of the subplots involved the rise of custom videos. They set it up by indicating their were elite performers (including specifically Spiegler Girls) who were still getting plenty of work in regular porn films, but that others (including specifically Casey) were relying on customs for a large part of their income. I may be wrong about this, but I assume that "The Butterfly Effect" expected that their audience would include a lot of porn fans, and it seems that they didn't worry that their little story-telling slight of hand would be noticed by most listeners. I hope that active participants in this board both recognize and respect Casey. Casey, Am I right that the model for this shot is a Spiegler girl? Social media is plainly a big part of it, so I've been putting effort into that (especially insta), but as far as I can tell, it's completely unpredictable. The people the fans latch onto are of different body types, different personalities, different styles of fucking... I can't figure it out. Does it bug me that I can't figure it out? Yes, very much so. Does my personal place in the porn world, as someone who's considered underrated, bug me? Honestly, yes, sometimes. But other times, I'm perfectly content being the girl who's considered professional, the girl you can call when the girl you originally hired flakes, the girl with the solid fan base who truly appreciates her for who she is. I'm not asking for advice here. There's no need for you to tell me "do this" or "do that -- you'll be more famous," because it's been proven time and time again that one person's preference does not fame make. The best thing you can do is tell your favorite companies to hire me -- tell Girlsway I should be GOTM, tell Lanksy I should be a Vixen Angel, tell Fleshlight to mold my holes already. Regarding "The Butterfly Effect," it was an honor to work with Jon and his team, and it is, imo, the best ever mainstream representation of the adult industry. That being said, I believe the photo for the cover is a stock photo. It's not me, unless they used a shot of me without telling me and manipulated it in such a way that I no longer recognize myself.
