I've always wondered this. I know how big Hollywood studios get the cast for their movies, by putting the word out to agents and then through auditioning, but what is the process for casting for porn flicks, especially for the ones with no storyline? And do the "actors" chose who they work with and who they don't work with?

The company I work with either goes through agents or has talent referred by friends.

And then what? Do the studios get to audition/interview said talent? And does the talent get to chose who they work with in any way, or are they shown their partners and that's it, they just work with whoever' s on the cast sheet?

If by casting/audition you mean "fuck a chick for free to see how good she is", then there is no such thing, as far as I know.
Many (if not all) porn stars have no-lists (i.e. a list of people whom the don't work with), but normally they don't choose their partners, even though they can of course refuse to work with someone... for whatever reason. I believe only the contract stars of big studios are sometimes given the choice of whom they want to be paired with.

Often the agent will send a new girl on "go-sees", where the girl goes around to the different studios to meet the directors, so they can see if they think she's cute, or if she's got the right "look" for what they need for an upcoming movie, etc.

Not at all. That's not what my question was all about. It wasn't about whether the director got to have sex with all the girls on his pics, but rather how do they chose their cast. And also, how do they pair male and female cast up. My question was, do they get their cast and then just say, "Here's who you'll be working with!"? Or do the cast members get to chose who their partners will be, like from pics or from reputation? Or maybe they don't even get to find out who their partner is until they start the scene, like they show in some of the vids?
