Any news or notes on Ms. Lain? Any new movies? Did she retire after that video clip? Just thinking about her, she was and is one of my all time favorites. Such a beauty back in the day.
The whole Chasey comeback just went wrong and I think she missed her shot and being a big contender with some of the other women who made big comebacks in the MILF arena. 1) I don't know what was going on behind the scenes but choosing CHERRY TOP (or whatever the name of the company is)as the company to make a comeback with was't a great choice. They aren't a bad company and their DVDs are okay but they aren't really high profile. 2) Chasey should've played the MILF card more. I can understand a girl not wanted to imply she's older but the whole MILF thing is pretty big and if she'd jumped on that bandwagon I think she would've had more success. 3) She didn't seem to "step it up". Many fans can't wait for former contract girls to cut loose without the restrictions of the big contract companies. All of the successful "MILFs"/ex-contract girls who are enjoying the most success are the ones who are doing stuff they weren't doing that much or at all before. In my opinion Chasey was still having contract girl type sex. It was cool to see Chasey come back but I was disappointed she didn't get a bit "dirtier". On the plus side...the good thing about her being in CHERRY TOP movies was that she'd sometimes be in 3 scenes. The bad thing was that those scenes weren't very exciting. It was great to see her finally do IR but it was disappointing that she only did it once. It was a bit of a surprise that she didn't do more. She seemed like she really enjoyed doing the scene and doing more IR scenes would've brought her a whole new fanbase.
I think she was still a beauty when she first made her comeback. I think it was a change in make-up application that caused her not to look as good as she did in her conract girl days. From what little I've seen she was looking a bit haggard in her final porn days but I think her looks are good enough that if she pulls herself together she could go right back to being a beauty.
She may have had some addiction or other personal problems, as she just seemed to be going through the motions after her comeback. I'm not trying to flame here, it's just my opinion based on what I saw. I sincerely hope that she's doing well in whatever endeavor she's involved in.
It was Cherry Boxxx (KBeechxxx) that she signed with. We should have known that it wouldn't be that great starting with the fact that a couple of titles had her named "Chaisey Lain". Oh, well. ^Her Wicked stuff was definitely her best, though the stuff with Vivid was pretty good, too. My favorite with her was "Film Buff"--great three-guy gang-bang at the end in a jail cell.
Best of luck to Chasey in rehab, and in moving on with her life. And I guess this means no more porn. She was such a beauty back in the day, and an early pornstar crush. But like many pornstars before & after her, Chasey couldn't handle the porn life--or the temptations porn money makes available. Too much booze or drugs will fuck up things everytime.

^^ Very painful to look at since I remember what a Looker she was in her early days in sexvids like "Covergirl" and "Chasey Loves Rocco." It's enough to make me want to donate money to my local PD's anti-drug programs.
