The Chat finally works again. Let's just hope the flaw doesn't return tomorrow, so that we can start gathering back up the stars we might have lost because the chat was down. I have a plan to make next weeks Wed. chat GREAT, so Drew if you figured out what the problem was please make sure it's not back next Wed. night.

Stars are busy people man. How many times do you think they are gonna try a Chat that doesn't work? I'm really not concerned with how you took my comments, but to make a rant to make it appear I was putting Drew down was uncalled for. Drew knows where I am coming from I believe. I love ADT and "RESPECT"(what a novel thought that is) the people who created and run it. Would ADT be a better place without regulars who care about what's going on? I don't think so.

I could be wrong, but it seemed to me that your post (and other's recent posts) seem to trivialize Drew's efforts and exaggerate the impact (I'm sure it was inconvenient for a couple of dozen people, especially the chat regulars, but there are thousands of people who visit the forums and many more that use the review and price search features).

I don't know of a single porn star who has chatted here before or posted to the forum that would leave just because the chat room wasn't available for a couple of days. Sure, there are new stars who show up occasionally (most of whom post in the forum first), but again, it's not like the chat room needs to be up 99.999% of the time or else "we" risk losing them.

As far as "respect" and "regulars," I'm not even going to touch that.

Yes, it appears to be fixed. Thank You for coming through for us once again.

Despite what someone may be trying to portray. I & I'm sure most of who posted about the Chat problem understand and respect the work you put in to ADT.

Also, please don't feel singled out by Saki's comments. He and I email each other frequently and he's aware of much of what's going on in my life outside of ADT. I've been incredibly busy lately with non-ADT stuff and he knows it.

I don't wish to deny the chat regulars a place to hang out but as Saki indicated it is one of the absolute least frequented sections of the site. More visitors read old chat transcripts than visit the chat room on a daily basis. Sometimes we're lucky to see 50 users visit the chat room in a 24 hour period. Fixing it was a low priority thing for me. I actually didn't realize the chat room was still broken because it never stopped working for me. Each time I would read another post about the chat room not working I would check it and it was working fine for me. I wasn't able to diagnose the problem until I tried a dialup connection from outside our LAN. Then I saw what was going on.
