Private indicates that the Private Man series has a MSRP of $39.95 whereas TLA Video has the Private Man series listed at $49.95 and discounted $39.99 - some discount!!! More than 33% above Private's selling price and essentially double the lowest price found elsewhere! [/soapbox] Having compared prices on DVDAdvantage and CheapoDVD for about 20 gay titles - including some that are often wildly discounted - I'd say that price data is coming from the same database. That doesn't mean that the same person/company is controlling the site. It could be a remarketing situation where someone gets a cut of the sales in turn for giving the core business additional exposure - the web equivalent of franchise sales. ~ GaySatyr [Link] |
