I just think it's important that we clarify sources etc. For example, a lot of the pictures posted are from The Rialto Report or from the performer's public Facebook or Twitter page, where they use their stage name. I've found a few people on Facebook & it makes me happy to know they're doing well. However, unless they are currently acknowledging their previous career, they may not want current photos shown. It's cool to find someone but I'm not sure about posting pics. You don't mean any harm & most others don't but there's always a chance some ass will do something with the pics & upset the performer in question. [Link]

Click to expand As long as it is a public picture, ie, the star has his or herself released it for the general public and the picture is from an account that is openly connected with the star, ie, the star his or herself has made the connection between the current picture and their past adult performing or a reputable publication (e.g., AVN, XBIZ, etc. not hack sites -- I am sure we all know who are hack sites and who are reputable) has printed/posted it, I would say they are okay to post. All pictures from other sources are not. [Link]

I can respect that and invading their privacy crosses the line for me. Bill Margold once remarked women who do porn trade privacy for immortality. Click to expand FYI most of my pics came from public appearances they made at awards shows honoring them, publicity events (e.g. book signings or promotions), others I have found simply using Google and getting hits on blogs or social media accounts. Lot of former stars have setup social media accounts themselves using their pornstar names. I've also found some mentioned in the news (e.g. arrests mugshots and obituaries). Then there are some former stars who have setup social media accounts using their real names. In those cases I post pics (which they have made public already) and updates (again based on their public postings). However, as requested by the moderator I started omitting their real names for privacy unless their real names were published in other news articles. So you can thank the internet and social media for most postings here. Nowadays if they really want to keep their lives private they can simply not create a social media account or make it private and not publicly viewable by everyone. If you check my postings I usually state where I got those current photos from and often provide a link. [Link]

Stacey's public instagram page revealed that she was in fact the daughter of William “Mickey” Stevenson who was the head of the A&R department at Motown during the company's "glory" years of the mid-1960s. In April 2015 he published a book entitled "Motown's First A & R Man Presents The A & R Man". His blog states that it was transcribed from his original handwritten manuscript by his daughter Ashley Stevenson (which is Stacey's real name).
