An alternative is the Fleshlight, which I also have and it's nice. You can get them with different interiors to fit your fancy. It's a one-holer so tearing doesn't seem to be an issue. The casing is round which means you have to jam it into something if you want a hands-free lay, unlike the P&A which sits flat on a bed, pillow or table-top. But you can jam it between the sofa cushions, or a couple of pillows, or tape it onto something, or just hold it in your hand. And at around $50 it's a lot cheaper than most P&As I've seen.

Newer materials like UR3 (Doc Johnson) and Futurotic (California Exotic) are softer and feel more realistic than older stuff. A good example of this is the two models of Janine's vagina.
