Tory is one of the few aggressive girls left. As I chatted with Laela she expressed her frustration at not getting booked to shoot as much as she would like. I urged her to be patient as she still very new. I told her that it takes time for a girl to build up her and fan base. I also recommend that she walk around the show floor and introduce herself to as many people as possible. I told her that the most important thing she can do is network. Porn is like any other business: it's not what you know, it's who you know. Directors/producers are much more likely to hire a girl they've met in person. I told her to stay patient, keep working and shooting scenes, even if they a few right now. As time goes by, she'll shoot more scenes and her fan base will grow and more scenes will come. We'll see how she does. [Link] |

I found Rachel Starr signing at a table for the first time all weekend. There was no line to see her, so I was happy to finally have the chance to speak with her this weekend. Unfortunately for me, I seemed to have picked the wrong time to see her. She was nice and polite, but every question I asked she gave very short, quick yes or no answers to. It was late on Sunday evening, so maybe she was tired from a long weekend. I only point it out since it is very unlike her. Usually, Rachel is a great girl to chat with. Of all the girls I met that she weekend, she was the most surprising. You never know what to expect when you meet a girl for the first time at on of these shows. I'm sure that a lot of people look at Christy, with her shaved head and multiple tattoos, and expect a wild & crazy pornstar. In fact she is the total opposite. She's very soft spoken and has a reserved, almost shy personality. She's also very nice and extremely sweet. I'm very glad I had the chance to meet her and hope to see her again at future shows. Our final girl for this year's show is none other than the great Bonnie Rotten in a skimpy purple bikini with pink leg warmers and clear stripper heels. Of all the girls I met for the first time at this show, and there were several, she without a doubt made the biggest impression on me. I confessed to Bonnie that when she came on the scene last year, I took one look at her, saw a skinny, barely-legal girl with a ton of tattoos and never gave her a second thought. I usually prefer older girls (older being >25) and those with more curves in their figure. Also I severely dislike tattoos on women, not just pornstars but women in general. I don't hate tattoos, but in my eyes, a woman's bare naked skin is infinitely more beautiful than a tattoo could ever hope to be. That being said, it's a personal preference, not a law, as I do like some pornstars with large and/or multiple tattoos. All these issues meant Bonnie had a lot of strikes working against when it came to converting me in to a fan. However, as time went by I noticed the buzz that was building about Bonnie, both on Twitter and here on ADT. It's very rare to see other porn girls get excited about a new girl entering the industry. Every one she worked for was raving about her, both co-stars & directors, so I started paying more attention. I checked out a couple of her scenes and was impressed by her performances, especially in Manuel Ferrara's "Raw 14". When I saw the announcement that she would be appearing the Fort Lauderdale show, I was anxious to meet her in person. Bonnie not only met my expectations but exceeded them. Her energy and excitement for meeting the fans were near Kristina Rose levels of enthusiasm. I never saw her without a smile on her face the whole weekend. If she wasn't meeting fans, she was walking around meeting other performers and even interviewed other girls. Speaking to her personally, I found her to be super high energy, very easy to talk to and just a fun loving girl, who was great with fans. Bonnie really enjoys doing porn and is having a blast being a pornstar. She certainly won me over that weekend and I look forward to seeing how far she will go in the industry. [Link] |

It was a good show overall and I had a lot of fun attending. The crowds were huge on Friday thanks to the "Ladies Free Friday" promoting. Saturday was busy but not jammed packed and the Sunday crowd wasn't bad for a Sunday. As I said at the beginning of this report, this year's show didn't have as many stars as other shows, but that didn't matter in the end. I saw many girls as possible yet still didn't see them all. You never can see everyone as there are simply too many. This in addition to all the stage shows and seminars, there is just too much to see and do at these shows. At night, they were a TON of after party at numerous night clubs. I did not attend any as I'm not much of a club guy, plus being a local resident I can simply go to them any time if I wish. Surprisingly, there was not a single girl feature dancing at a local strip club this year. Not a one that I could find. This actually worked out in favor as i went home every night and got a full night's sleep so I was well rested for the show all three days. This was hugely refreshing after the marathon that was the NJ show last November. Speaking of which, eXXXotica has finally announced the date of this year's fall show in Edison. In a some what surprising change, this year's show will be held a month earlier than usual on the first weekend of October from the 4-6. The previous three years, the show was held on either the first or second weekend of November. It will be nice not to have to worry about near freezing temperatures this year. I know the girls will certainly be happy about that. I had a great time at this year's Florida show and I'm all ready looking forward to the Edison show this fall. October is less than four months away, so it'll be here before we know it! END [Link] |
