I don't follow Aidra on Social Media so I can't claim to have any inside info on her personal life but I can't help but feel that if there is one word that best describes her then it is perky. She seems like a naturally perky person and I think her breasts simply emulate that trait and that's why I think they are perky. In fact they are perfectly perky.

Interesting. She shot twice for Blacked, three times for Tushy and once for Vixen. She had enough time to make that very opinion. That sucks, she's one of my favorites and I was really hoping to see her on Blacked/Tushy/Vixen again. She should specify what these "shitty things" that Greg Lansky has done are; I mean, is it a matter of him being a control freak on set or are we talking about a guy who's verbally and/or physically abusive to female performers? Considering the current climate, what with the #MeToo movement and all, I think it's important to specify your grievances when you call out somebody like this.

^ The reason I posted that on another thread is because I had never heard a negative word from her or about her in the industry, ever. She seems especially well regarded by all, - companies, producers, directors, talent, etc. so this got my attention. I wasn't trying to instigate any sort of debate about Greg Lansky, but if she's saying something is amiss, she's built up enough credibility in my mind that it at least raises a red flag to me. That's all.
It might not be damning enough where Aidra feels the need to blow the lid off. Still, her criticism of Lansky is eye-opening for sure. This guy is painted as a saint and "visionary" to porn; but could he be a wolf in sheep's clothing? Who knows. But I don't think Aidra would risk jeopardizing her career by knocking a top director in porn for no reason. There must be a basis to her claims.

That Greg Lansky might be an asshole to work for is not at all shocking to me. I remember a couple years ago, when Lola Foxx retired and she was taking questions from her fans in which she told them she would answer everything with 100% honesty, she mentioned him when asked who was the worst director she ever worked for. For the record, that would've been back in his Reality Kings days. Beyond that, it should come as no surprise that he might be an asshole; I mean, when you see him on Twitter and Instagram, and especially when you see him do interviews for non-porn media outlets, he DEFINITELY comes off as a guy who is full of himself.
The devaluing accusation doesn't necessarily have to be one that involves verbal or physical abuse. Lansky has a lot of money to play with (not to say anything about some of the accusations out there that it's not entirely legitimate) and let's be real, he spends it in some ways that don't really make sense when it comes to building a subscriber base. While I can see the benefits of having lingerie with the site name on it or photoshoots like the one Abella just did, I can't see anyone signing up for the site because he gives the girls expensive heels and jewelry or importing a door from Morocco for a shoot. If he paid everyone a few extra hundred dollars per shoot instead, tweets like this probably wouldn't exist. Plus, there's the whole "You guys are artists and I'm going to treat you like the artists you are!" thing, when he still gives his scenes titles such as "My First Big BBC Daddy", "I Just Want His BBC", "Sharing Her Ass with My Husband", and "I Only Gape for You". It's not the end of the world, but when he's trying market his work and the models as some sort of higher class work, using titles that kind of devalues all of that effort.
^ What's devaluing with "I only gape for you"? Sounds more like a romantic love confession... ^^; As long as gaping itself is not inherently degrading. I would agree with the general diagnosis of a possible discrepancy between the language/lingo ("art" etc) Lansky uses to promote himself and his stuff and porn in general, and what is behind it... the "more style than substance" argument against him. To what degree that is bad, is another question. Obviously that attracts special attention. If you go high with your words, people expect you to do as well with your behaviour, and will criticize if they recognize that's not the case.
I see Mike Quasar was inspired by Aidra's tweets to put a finger once again into the sore point of Lansky regarding lack of originality aka plagiarizing the work of other (Fashion) photographers (as already discussed when Tori Black's helicopter shoot came out)... Yes, that's a point where I can definitely see why some say that doesn't fit to the "true Artist" Image. ^^ Funny indeed.
1,5 years if you count Dolly Little - after simply asking why she left porn and complimenting her Blacked scene she randomly responded with a long description of her experience working with him which echoed those models complaints about body shaming and emotional abuse. She said she wrote a whole article about it on her Fetlife account though it's hard to check because that site requires registration to read her account's content.
^^^^ It's the least devaluing of the four for sure. However, he'll tell the audience about art for days, yet outside of a sex comedy in the previous decade, I doubt any mainstream work would have the word "gape" in it in a sexual context, let alone as a featured part of the marketing push. Obviously porn is a different medium, but as you said, there's an expectation to go a little higher with how heavily he pushes the "art" factor.
