It kinda annoys me when I take the time to download a lousy 1 minute clip and half of it is taken up by credits. I already know the title, that's why I want to see the clip. If I'm interested in the director's name I'll look at the text on the page. I want to get straight to the action.

I agree with Nietzsche. Half a clip of credits is totally stupid. Show some substance so that we can get a good idea of the content.

The trailer isn't supposed to take the place of the movie. It's supposed to give you an idea of what the movie is, so you can figure out if you want to buy it.

Trailers are there for one reason, and it's to give the viewer an idea of the quality (or not) of the movie.

If you want to stroke off without buying it, rent it. ;)

Evil Angel has got to be the WORST for trailers. Check out this Beautiful Girls 18 trailer. From that you'd think the movie was soft core! But we all know it's a hard pounding, buttfuck-a-thon like all the other titles in that (great!) series. What a waste of bandwidth.

Actually, I rarely watch porn trailers, but I do watch a few mainstream ones, and I agree. When you download a Star Wars trailer that goes for 4 minutes and there's 95 seconds of fox/lucasfilm logos it does start to piss you off.

Whether it's just porn or not, I think those people who are watching it are more interested in seeing what the content contains rather than the director/studio/editor having their own jerk-off with fancy credits.

Showing content rather than credits is more likely to sell a DVD to consumers then <your studio name here> for 45 seconds, especially since the consumer probably has some idea of what they've downloaded.. right?

Also Tony. Fucking relax mate.

We have trailers for all our movies - If its done right, it gives a good idea as to what the movie is all about. Please, check out our site and the trailers!

With Colossal you must really try, because those trailers are usually Dead.
Now i have Mozilla Firefox 1.0.3 and Flash is re-installed and those Flash Trailers are still usually dead, does not load that and run.

Same goes to madnesspictures.com, i think they use same
Flash webmaster, anyway trailers are dead also, usually always.

I did show some trailers to my friend who is anal creampie fan,
and good job man.
1 cream pie trailer did not show any f*cking action, girls only did walk and shake booty, i'am sorry i don't remember what is was.
so put sex-action always in those trailers.
But yeah, good job man.

PS: DVSX also does good job.

we do 3 mins per trailer minimum.

some companies cut it short so that you have to buy the movie.
they dont want you to be able to jack off to the trailer.

Not saying thats what any of the forementioned companies do. Evil probably doesnt even need trailers at all! :-p

Most of the trailers are soft-core if they want the widest possible exposure for their trailer. Sme companies shoot a soft and a hard core version, but not all of them do.

It is not the credits that bother me as much as the trailers that use special effects to cut between the scenes in such a way that you have a hard time seeing who you were watching.

What really disappoints me about most trailers on DVD's is that they are rarely of new or coming soon product but usually of movies that were released before the one I bought.

I agree, but I only hate the 30 second trailers when they show credits. I just need a little taste and the girl line up maybe 2 seconds of them in action. I have said this before good quality trailers sell movies! I buy many movies after seeing trailers.

I say that the trailers need a sophisticated baritone voiceover, like mainstream movie trailers. You know, something like, [deep trailer voice]"In a world where danger lurks at every turn, the only way to protect yourself is to Take. No. Prisoners. Evil Angel Video presents: a Jules Jordan production. Starring: Nikki Benz, Keri Sable, Brittany Skye, Taylor Rain, Alexis Malone, Mary Jane, and Sativa Rose. It's a rough world out there. Don't forget to Take. No. Prisoners. Available on DVD and VHS. [/deep trailer voice]
