It's a terrible news, though amid the recent syphilis crisis, it was almost expected that voters would vote for it.
This is taken as a serious blow, rightly so, by the porn industry.
"The effect would be simply to have no scenes, or much, much fewer scenes shot in Los Angeles,' John Stagliano , also known as 'Buttman' who owns Evil Angel , one of the nation's top porn production companies, told Buzz Feed before the measure’s passing."
With the measure's passing Mr Stagliano said he expects some scenes to go underground while he personally expects 'to just shoot in other places.'
I really hope production goes somewhere else, in other states, where it's still allowed to shoot porn as we like it. Porn watchers prefer scenes with NO condoms and will surely start looking for alternatives, mostly from the eastern countries (Czech, Hungary ...etc), if ever US porn industry starts complying with this regulation.
