Still the illegal content theft is still alive: We still see a lot of movies popping up on Internet sites especially regarding PXP and Jules Jordan movies which are pretty easy to ID just from screenshots. The question is: Do all these studios and producers not care their content is being stolen? How are they policing it? What do people around here (and people from these studios owning the content) think about establishing a forum where offenders & URLs can get posted so studios can take action? If a seperate forum is not the proper answer, what if these studios post email addresses we can email offenders' URLs to so they can take action and take them down? These thieves are earning millions every month out there with your content, forwarding a couple emails a week to your lawyer can't take too much time.  [Link] |

Your stuff would start popping up like crazy all over the web & people start making millions with - legally or half-legally by bending the licensing rules. Anyways... If we could at least get some emails posted here.. for PXP, Jules Jordan (or somebody inside EA who deals with copyright enforcement) & also Anabolic, just saw some Anabolic scene with Everhard & Angel today on a Deluxepass website. They of course 2257 labelled it as a RLD scene with is bullshit. I'd be happy to report whatever I find... [Link] |

| *Mutt* Deactivated User 752 Posts 8/03 | Posted - Feb 22 2004 : 4:37PM that's not Platinum-X Pictures you're replying to, it's another company completely named Platinum. post the URL's of the sites with the illegal PXP and Jules Jordan content. i know most of the thieves. and licensing content is not bad, it's just another way to make money off a movie. unless the company has its own paysite(s) that they want to market and present to the public as being exclusive and the only place online to see their content, like New Sensations is doing, it makes no sense not to license, unless you're so successful that an additional 5-10K per movie isn't worth the time. done right, it would be a nice additional revenue stream for video companies. You just have to have a license that spells out what you can't do with the movies and what you can't do with it. All movies wind up on the Internet these days, hobbyists are ripping and trading DVDs all over the place. No DVD should be licensed into an AVS aka Adult Verification Service (now known as an AEN or Adult Entertainment Network) for anything less than $2,500 per title.
