Can someone tell me why some couple like Nicole and Voodoo use condoms in theier scenes with each other?

Maybe because the studio has a condom-only policy.

Thanks for your reply. I thought of that, but it just seems odd for that policy to extend to a married couple. Policy or not, that would be a selling point that a condom only studi has a condom free scene.

The general porn-buying public doesn't know that Nicole and Voodoo are married.
Studios who are condom-only do so in order to be perceived as being "responsible" for purposes of marketing their products to cable and other outlets. This would probably hurt them more in those markets than it would help them in the video sales/rental markets.

When it really comes down to it, the majority of people who wouldn't buy a movie because of condom usage, really aren't big fans of the style of movie that the condom-only companys typically distrubute anyway. I wouldn't think that the exclusion of a condom in a single scene would mean the difference between buying and not buying a particular DVD to many people.

You make a good point, but who says you have to buy? In the days of old where Anal was rare, I would choose to rent a movie with an anal scene Vs. a movie that looked better without anal.

I do agree that people who are not into condoms scenes would most likely steer clear, but others might give it a try based on the fact that one scene was raw.

I've never found it to be a sticking point -- I'm just so used to watching gonzo that it's never an issue. But when I see one occasionally, it makes no big difference. Vivid-y stuff doesn't interest me much (nor do Nicole and Voodoo to be honest) but I remember Shane's World had a condoms-only policy, or used to, and that never got in the way of my enjoyment of their stuff. Also, sites like Midnight Prowl use untested jackoffs from adult bookstores to be serviced by their rental sluts, and it kind of works FOR the scenes -- "reality," ya know? (Besides, in those scenarios we all know it's about the blowjobs).
