I pretty much have the same 3rd party utilities installed on my desktop and have no problem with cookies being saved on it. The main difference is I have Windows 7 Ultimate on my desktop on Windows 7 Professional (both full versions with clean installs) on my laptop. I have the same versions of Avast free AV, CCleaner, & Spybot on both PCs. The box for "Delete Browsing History on Exit" is unchecked. Any ideas?  [Link] |

Click on Tools - Options - Provacy and check the box that reads "Accept cookies from sites" I also use Opera. Click on Tools - Preferences - Advanced - Select Cookies from the list on the left and put a dot next to "Accept Cookies" I don't use I.E. (hate it) and have no idea how that browser handles cookies.  [Link] |

Click on Index tab. Type in the Keyword to find 'cookies' You should get a hit in the list that reads 'cookies, changing settings' Click on that and read the 2,000 word explanation of what you can do and how you can do it to get your I.E. to accept cookies.
