There didn't appear to be a consistent style of shooting, lighting, or directing; Craven doesn't appear in or direct all of the scenes. So they have a thrown-together feel. The quality of the female performers was not uniformly high; I wouldn't expect all of them to be top drawer, but some of these, there were really NO standout girls. I got these volumes when they had been discounted to under $10 by an on-line retailer. I personally wouldn't consider purchasing them for the (usually) over $17 prices listed on-line.
The one thing that I did have some appreciation for in these volumes is that they have some girls who have made very few appearances that I enjoyed seeing (Chi Sun, busty Chinese girl with braces, for example). The credits are usually hit or miss too so the names are not always accurate; I didn't realize Chi Sun was in one until I watched (she's credited as Jade, probably her choice of an alias).
Again, I have only seen these volumes, so any earlier or later ones might be different.
If you are looking for an all bj series I would recommend "Deep Throat This" more highly. I have seen all of these through volume 13 (I did miss volume 6). Earlier editions had (a few, not many) scenes comped from other Peter North productions, but I believe that has stopped with the more recent releases (after volume nine or so). Craven directs this series and appears in some of the scenes as the male talent. The most recent volume that I have seen (#13) has Wendy James, Roxy Heart, Haley, Sabrine Maui, Ariana Jollee, recent "American Babe of the Week" Alex Devine, Jasmine Lynn, Christine Young, plus some others; I consider this a very strong lineup of current starlets. The scenes are usually well photographed with angles that display the girls' faces nicely. The lighting in this series is sometimes a bit flat, but the DVDs are usually without pixelation, which plagues a lot of the porn DVDs that I see.
In all, I would say that unless you are a hard-core bj fan and have to have everything out there, avoid the "Oral Adventures" series for purchase at the current prices. At $12 or so, they might make more sense for fans of this fetish. Rent if they have a particular starlet that you can't get enough of, but I would generally think that girls with other appearances would be better showcased in other titles.
