Since he took over the camera duties for most of the Peter North lines, they've all suffered. They use a shitty camera that seems to be set to capture less than the standard number of frames per second (always looks choppy - it makes me dizzy sometimes) and they never get the light or color right. Add to that Craven's moronic interviews with the girls that make me want to scream, and you have a recipe for scenes that are almost unwatchable. The last few "Deep Throat This" and "Swallow This" releases have had one or two scenes that rose above all this nonsense, but the general trend has been downward.
I just finished watching (or should I say "trying" to watch) "Swallow This #8". Great cast, including one of the hottest BJ girls out there right now - Isabella Dior. There has to be something salvageable here, right? Nope. Craven's already unsteady hand is getting worse and worse. He literally can't hold the camera still for more than a fleeting second or two. It's CONSTANTLY moving. It was so annoying I just couldn't watch any of the scenes past the first few minutes. Adding further insult to injury is the fact that the image on at least a couple of the scenes (the Holly Wellin scene being the most prominent) is distorted - smushed so that the girls literally look like they're anorexic.
Pitiful.
When you consider how many other great BJ, blowbang and swallow series there are out there, I can't understand why anybody would still buy this absolute and utter crap.
Save yourself the time and money on this one.
And Craven - PLEASE RETIRE.
